IMPORT GUIDE :
1. Enable "Tick the Automatically create unknown variables ..." located at File>Preference>General
2. Copy the Suppression Barrier and Disable Barrier abilities in the Object Editor
3. Import Unit Event (or any Unit Indexer) and Damage Engine into your map --> if you use Reforged, use Damage Engine link instead one provided in the test map. The test map Damage Engine is a version specifically designed to support v1.31 Warcraft III
4. Copy the Suppression Barrier Folder in the Trigger Editor
5. Configure the SBarrier Config trigger according to the comments provided
6. Configure the unit/hero using the ability to have the ability
SPELL DESCRIPTION :
Generates a shield around this unit, causing it to deal 20 self-damage per second but reverse all incoming damage into 100/200/300% healing.

Wouldn't self-damage be equal to just setting the life of the unit instead of using "unit - cause unit to damage..." :P? Not that it matters much. A spell that contains a paradoxal idea, pretty neat and strategic, as you said. Approved
Depending on the map and the unit utilizing this, the damage over time can be increased to higher values for balancing. In addition, this ability is bonkers when combined with Taunt in the middle of a large warfare since the damage amount it negates a very large chunk of damage from the entire army.

Extremely tactical and potentially broken in melee when microed properly.

By making it self damage, it helps users who has kill events (such as gold on kill) detect who is the killer and adjust information accordingly.
