You can edit, repost the model to your liking as you please, as long as you give me credits for it and add a link to this thread. Have fun with the model. If you use the resource(s) in bad faith I have the full right to take away the ability to use this resource.

No imports
No custom textures needed.
You DO NOT need to import 'ReplaceableTextures\TeamColor\TeamColor20.blp' or 'ReplaceableTextures\TeamColor\TeamColor27.blp'. This happens because Hive does not recognize the file being in the game. Models are tested on the newest version of retail wc3.

The Lore
This pack contains 18 armoured combat vehicles with different styles and looks. Most of them are updates to former models, but there are also brand new ones.

That's a lot of work here! I especially like the tanks with new blueish and white colour palette, they look more fresh with this new style! :peasant-thumbs-up:

(I actually think that General Frank should be honored to beign added to the Guinness Book of Records as a person who had created the largest number of tank models in the world) :pir:
 
Amazing stuff as always! I love how you have been experimenting with different textures and color schemes, it really helps distinguish them a little. There's some nice variation in utility too, especially with the Cougar FCV and the Tunguska-inspired AA tank. Again, what i still would love to see though is some even more niche tanks... like, maybe one with a huge shield generator on top, or maybe a siege tank with a huge armored plow to shield it from frontal fire... just something which makes it visually obvious which strengths and weaknesses the tank has so that you can build some interesting gameplay around that. Still, lovely stuff and please don't stop making these!

Excellent pack, good sir!
I especially like the Tanto, it feels more unique compared to the other tanks.
Btw is there any difference between the normal and 'Slam' attack animations?
Attack Slam animations have a bit more recoil with them on most models, or shoots both guns simultaneously on some others.

Hey I would like to combine these models with a unit with the Phoenix fire ability ('Apxf'). Is it somehow possible that the turrets rotate to the direction in which the phoenix fire is firing?
I could detect this with a trigger if necessary and the target unit as well. Is there any way to play an animation to rotate the turrets into a certain direction like for the human towers?

I have no idea about how to code that.
The models do turn their turrets if they are buildings though.

I thought about something like this:
  • Tank Canon
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Tank Canon
    • Actions
      • Game - Display to (All players) the text: Cast Tank Canon!
      • Animation - Lock (Triggering unit)'s Head to face (Target unit of ability being cast), offset by (0.00, 0.00, 90.00)
but this only works if the turret is the head.
 
i use some of Frank tanks in my map empire earth:
All tanks in the modern time and forward are his.
