Steel Saviour Episode II

This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
Overview

Steel Saviour is dynamical an action-arcade with which you help the doomed people. And what to do, if gold mines aren't enough for military budget? Here also it was necessary to rely on heroes like you, without looking at a sad condition of your "ship". So, dress a helmet faster not to become deaf from own motor, and move forward for the sake of justice. It is necessary to tell about good avoidance of your fighting helicopter, and also super-modern weapons which can be established by the helicopter. And all has begun that humans have decided to expand the territory for the account of undead, but, apparently, wanted to indulge the same. Only an occasion wasn't. However humans had a whole squadron of helicopters of fast reaction. Though your reaction is necessary too.

Gameplay:

The map is a lot of fun, there are different weapon/ammo types and special pick-ups like bombs and shields, etc.
The game gets harder over time and new units get introduced. Every unit is also unique, its behavior, its movement and its ammo type.
The controls are also smooth and the hotkeys are bound to fitting keys.

Terrain:

The background environment seems really huge, the way you've made the wall with huge rocks. However it's quite empty apart from that, the terrain is plain and there aren't any moving things in the background. You could have also added some fire trap models in the background, etc.

Other:

A decent map description on the hive and also a neat loading screen image.
However the preview image's quality is too low, try replacing it with something else or the same image but with a higher quality.

Some suggestions:

*Show a game message with the controls in the beginning
*Add a fade filter image (red circle) when you get damaged

Overall:

A really neat map, can be a lot of fun, not too short or too long. However it can still use some improvements, like the terrain.

You MUST be kidding me! Another unique map that breaks the monotony of day-to-day uploads on the Hive ? I have to review this. If not tomorrow, the day after that. For now, I'll play this like there's no tomorrow!

OMFG episode 2 finally!!! downloading right away! are you planning to bundle them into a campaign when you finish with all maps? maybe some resources of helicopter gets saved throughout chapters, or maybe you can even make a special market chapter to buy some stuff.

Official Basic Review of V3H -

Terrain 10/10 - Nicely done
Concept & Idea 6/10 - Has been done before but still done nicely.
Triggers 0/10 - Corrupted
Object Data 0/10 - Corrupted - Don't feel like using a mpq tool to extract data atm.
Overall Map Data 5/10 - Could use some custom models and a interface... as well ^
Estimated effort spent into this 9/10 - Seems you put a lot of work into it judging by the massive amount of triggers.
Playability & Improveable 8/10 - It is fun for the first ten games, try randomization?

Overall Mark - 38/70 =)

Any questions about the review, just ask and I will answer.

Suggestions -
Well it is simple, add a re-playable value for the moment.

Epic! Definitely 9001/5
Played this one with a friend, and the first part too and they are indeed enjoyable. Though they are kinda short. Suggestions: merge them and create more random 5+ levels ^_^

I sense that this is the spark of 2D Warcraft 3 games.

This is one of the most creative maps I've seen for warcraft III. It certainly deserves more attention!

PS: if you can add custom units like planes/spaceships/tanks and a more modern feel, it would be EPIC!
