Steam Fortress - The Vapourizer

After the invention of the Steam Tank an the Siege Engine, the technicians and engineers decided to create a vehicle that suits all purposes, rather than specialising on one or two field. After revising old blue prints and plan of ancient Dwarven and Gnomish machines, the a new vehicle was born: The Steam Fortress.
The Steam Fortress packs a lot of fire power and is durable enough to sustain the worst damage. On the threaded and steam-powered full is a sheer array of weapon systems: Two heavy steam cannons, a pair of high calibre chain guns and a rocket launcher pod makes this vehicle the best Steam unit of the field.

Give credits if you use it in your campaign/map, DON'T distribute to other sites and DON'T edit without my permission.
Have fun with the model.

P.S.: Thanks to Elenai for giving me the idea of adding 'geeky 1900's gas lamps' to it.

Truly amazing G. Frank, I'm happy to see that you started to make Dwarfs models again. It's far better than the standard Blizzard Steam Tank and Siege Engine models. Why you don't work for Blizzard making new models for WoW or even (even) Warcraft 4? Oh, I almost forgot, 5/5.

Holy hell, that thing is uber, it really does look so much better than the basic steam tank/siege engine, 5/5, General Frank for Head of Model Development at Blizzard Entertainment!

This model is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen, hands down. the mesh, the geosets, it is perfection from on high.

my only concern is that the "attack two" and "death" animations do not do it justice. Its such an incredibly epic model, but then if you actually "kill it" it just bounces up and down and goes "spfft"

but thats hardly a complaint, the model itself is ... breathtaking, and cavman shoulda given it a lil bit o higher rep. :p

I got one way of using it: Steam Tank Map!

Upgrade 0- Steam Tank Beta (The one with the wrecking ball)
Upgrade 1- Steam Tank Roc
Upgrade 2- Siege Engine
Upgrade 3- Koronus
Upgrade 4- Steam Fortress

Awesome Model too!

Looks like an overly massive and gay version of The_Mechanic's Kronous model. http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models.php?id=maic0v
Not very original frank, cool, but not original. Also the execution on this model's animations and overall look is sub par. 3.5/5

-Edit: I guess I can't rate it 3.5/5. So I rounded it down to 3

Actually this model was made months before mechanic's ones. Hey, you should do it better or just be quiet okay?

Scalewise, this model crushes the Koronus with one tread.

This is one of the best seige tank models I've seen on here, and it could also be a mobile town hall as well. Exelent work, has several uses, all of whch usually nvolve stuff going boom :D

off topic but:

count of dwarven/gnomish gold-plated, blue-window-glass models is at 12893109283109. anybody wanna make GOBLIN mechs....

dwarven/gnomish gold-plated, blue-window-glass style gets old...

GOBLINS are the ones with all the wacky add-ons like SMILEY STICKERS, lasers, shrink rays, SHEEP BOMBS... etc.

Has anybody thought of this as the "Robogoblin/avatar/metamorphasis" form of the Battle Tank? I certainly would use it if I had such a unit.

Epic Tank

Medium Filesize.

I'm going to present this model later in the battletanks forum and see what they think about it. Your previous tank model was awesome enough to be tested in a beta version, it will very likely be added in the real Battle tanks map.

This tanks does also have similar chance, but I cannot say for certain now if it's going to be implemented. 50/50 maybe...

It's awesome enough to get 5/5 and a rep+.

... shaman, just how much can you animate a tank? It is almost impossible to make the animations any different from a tank. If you're going to tell him that the anims are bad, then at least tell what it should be... -_- I think it's perfectly fine.

I looked at the model and I love that little pump on the back as it goes up and down.^ ^

Well, the anims are alright, but I think when it attacks the gun should EXPLODE WITH THE FORCE OF HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF DWARVEN ENGINEERING! instead of just go "POW" Also when it dies (i'm ok with the steamtank-ish death, its sticks to the warcraft look) but make the SPLOSION BIGGER! You'd think something this monstrous would be highly explosive due to all the machinery inside. I'd like to see the results of those machines sploding. There, that is my opinion. General Frank, it is a good model, but in my opinion, it needs some more work before it is perfect. But hey...no model ever reaches perfection. And I digress...
