Some ultra easy, non-trigger, ones:
Scope:
Gives +Number vision and +Number attack range for Number seconds. No penalties. Maybe give critical strike.
*Number could be very big and with no penalties.
-How? the easy non-trigger way is to use a timed metamorphosis. You create 2 variations of the same unit, the normal one and the other with the augmentations. Done.
Reconaissance:
Reveals a target area for X seconds. Maybe reveal a great area centered around the Sniper (this needs triggers or Metamorphosis again).
-How? Far Sight or Dust of Appereance (search on item abilities).
Take Cover:
The sniper grants a target +Number armor but reduced move speed for a brief moment. Number should be big and duration small, so to spam the skill. Skill is short ranged and can be used on self.
-How? Acid Bomb, that targets allies and self, that grants a negative value on "Armor Penalty", and that reduces movespeed in the corresponding field.
Stimpack:
The sniper gains +Number movespeed and +Number attack speed for a brief moment.
Or The sniper grants a target +Number movespeed and +Number regeneration.
-How? First: Frenzy; second: Unholy Frenzy, negative "Damage Per Second".
Disarm/Incapacitate:
The sniper makes the target unable to attack or cast spells for Number seconds, reducing movespeed of the offender. Melee range. Maybe it also deals damage with a simple deal damage trigger.
-How? Drunken Haze, melee range, Attacks Prevented everything, no AoE.
Here the sniper is a dangerous long ranged badass attacker (scope, stimpack, reconaissance), that supports other ranged badasses or himself (take cover, reconaissance). The sniper also is versatile, as he can always escape if others get near (incapacitate) or use his intel to get near a target to then proceed to assassinate it (reconaissance, incapacitate).
