Splash damage from uprooted ancient?

In my map I'm using a powerful Ancient Protector i need to deliver some kind of splash damage. I've tried giving it the Cleaving Attack ability, but it does only work when I root it down. I've also tried giving the melee attack some spill damage radius, but it doesn't work.

Any way I can get my Ancient Protector to deal area/spill damage?

I think the ancient prtectors second attack defines how he deals uprootet damage Just change it there

Granted I've done everything right, it simply doesn't work. Anything else i can try?

oh nvm sry the uprooted attack is the first one ^^

Set weapon type to "missile - splash" and add some properties to the fields called "Area of Effect".
