Too much details in my opinion.
I think you can really save some filesize if you dont make the screws on the bottom in 3d.

Nice model there, bro :D I remember making a skateboarding map long time ago, I will look for it in my computer, maybe even finish it with this model :D
im glad to know that you like my model:D

Nice. Now it is complete and the wrap seems better than the last one.
thnx!!

hmm you are right, on the portrait version i could remove the screws and slightly decrease file size

The filesize is quite big for a small-ish doodad...
well each model is around 30kb, is that a lot? o_O

Looks good for in-game textures, but I think it has a pretty excessive file-size for a simple model.

You know that you can tilt a model by using negative tilt maximums in the editor, right? That's more efficient than importing a whole new model into the map just to rotate it.

Looks really cool, though. I would suggest teamcoloring the wheels and giving it an attachment point, so that it could actually be used to make skateboard-riding units.

rotating model in editor:
yeah i know that you can rotate it inside the editor, i just added the first version for those that doesn't know how to do it:p
team color:
this could be used too, the prob is im new to modeling and not quite sure how to add team color but ill learn soon...
attachment points:
need to learn how to make those aswell:p
skateboard-riding units
well...won't that require an animation for the skateboard so the wheels rotate?

ill do my best to improve this model, thnx for the feedback!! +rep

EDIT:
woot this is my 900th post

EDIT 2:
quick update, removed the screws and the second variation of the model

tony hawk map?
maybe?

I've got some other idea to lower the filesize and the poly count. why don't you delete the polygons at the bottom of the skateboard and set the texture of the main board to two sided. Just see if it works better than this.
whaaaat?:D

EDIT:
i think i know what you suggested but i tried that in the past and i always fail at using "snap"
an example of my failure is the first version of the skateboard with the missing polygons:p

Well, that one is just a suggestion, take it or not, it's up to you.
i know and im glad that you suggested that, problem is that it will take sometime for me to get the snapping right...
so a better version of the skateboard with fewer polygons(and probably better UV mapping) is not coming soon...

Just noticed that the file size is 13.37
now that's what i call a useless comment *_* (no offense)
