Maiev and her watchers arrived in the ruins of the orcish homeworld, Draenor. They soon discovered that Illidan had come alone, thus the recapture proved to be fairly easy. Then the naga had arrived on Outland, and they had brought new allies: the same blood elves that Maiev had helped before. Maiev and her soldiers fought the naga and their traitorous elven friends, but the new army outnumbered hers, and eventually she was defeated. The naga and blood elves recaptured Illidan and freed him. Upon the warden's final moments, Illidan decided to imprison her instead.Soon after that, Maiev would be contacted by Akama, unsatisfied by not being given the Black Temple as promised and the wary Maiev agreed to enter a partnership and vowed to see Illidan dead.

Hi,I think it's a little late to suggest this because it would be a big change but
you have not considered putting demons hunters blood elves as units of the Illidari ,as in the black temple of wow?

A really good campaign.
It feels like it is a continuation of the story made by blizzard staff themselves... Instead there is one guy behind all of this.
The campaign is built like a blizzard one, including non-melee maps and sometimes little eastereggs. It also contain a well-known character from earlier warcraft campaigns, so you are not just thrown into a wall of new stuff, which is good. You also get to cntrol new heroes with cool skillsets, which felt great.
I am not completely familiar with the lore, wheter or not you made most of it up, or if it follows already blizzard-written lore. It is entertaining either way.
The only thing it is missing really, is voice acting.

I haven't finished all of the campaign, but I surely will when I find some more time.
Anyway, From what I've seen in it so far, I can determine that it is well above the bar for what is acceptable for approval.

The melee map parts feels quite unique and well balanced.

My favourite part was the fire dungeon in the outland. It was really cool with the riddles to get past the guardians and stuff.
I found the firelord boss to be a litle bit too hard. I had to cheat to get past him at all.

Overall I found this campaign to be slightly harder than the original campaigns, but this mght be because I sucked at those anyway.

If you haven't gotten enough of blizzards own campaigns, this is a must-play.

Your description could use an update.
I know it looks the way it fdoes because of the Hive 2.0 update, but just sayin'. :)

map review

I found 2 bugs:
on the 1st map the first 2 priestess i rescued their armors are invulnerable
on the 3rd map I accept the alchemy quest then when i return with the potion of invulnerability nothing happens.
on the 4th map; death trap. i thought i could get a unique item from the fire lord but i only get a scroll and also the arcane ring (secret item) i cant click it even though it can be clickable

I loved this campaign so much. The plot is good, the characters are interesting and have nice custom abilities and the boss battles are very well-made. I see that you made some changes to what happened in canon, but it is okay.

chapter 3\ alchemist quest I got the potion but nothing happens when I give it to him
it used to work in the previous versions
PS: I'm not using cheats so it won't affect on triggers or anything

The optional objective where I must kill the Ice revenant, isn't the creep spawn suppose to stop after I kill him?
I killed him but after a while a huge force of creeps attacked me and destroyed my base :V

Guess what i not even found him they were too much so i left that quest.
he's suppose to be guarding the cave entrance next to the bottom gold mine
and I think purpose of the spawning creeps is to attack us or the shatar but they just keep coming and coming attacking no one just stacking

Battle for Shatrath is imposible to defend against fully upgraded fel orcs and why are near the orc base camp warlocks gathered with grunt.
cant defend with huntress and archers and those watchers are eating too much food .
The timer betwen attacks is short i refund all my gold only for defensive ,what after ?

@MURDER KING true that, I was only able to complete that chapter using cheats
the fel orcs attacks are strong and time periods between each wave is small
not to mention the huge naga wave that attacks the draenei base and destroys it with just one attack
you should either decrease the units in attacking waves or increase the units and defenses of our allies AND if their towers were destroyed they rebuild them
also maybe increase the unit limit to 120 or 140

I would like to say i know how to win without cheats but only strategy.
What you think Morris about 4 heroes against 1.
Well Maiev is suck for the beggining but you need to know how to build your own defense .
I will chat you again if interested tonight i planning the siege at the Black temple.

I just finished the campaign for the 5th time! I gotta say it's great and hope that we see other campaigns like this from Sclammerz.
But I will play the Battle for Shattrath again and WILL beat it without cheats
When I first played it without cheats I stacked Ancient Protector on all bases but failed on the Aldor base
I can defend my base from the fel orcs but The Aldor are weak
Oh one more thing @Sclammerz in the epilouge, I remember 3 optional quests exist but when I walk to the heroes they say nothing but the exclamation mark is floating on their head.
Did you remove the quests or is that a bug?

I think they only was there because of the 2 Aldors and Scryers.
Wardens,Watcers ,Priests and Archers are the key for Shattrath defense anything else is pointless,when naga attack the Draenei you just need to shut down Lady Vasjh when she ast tidal wave with Maiev first abil.
And only bring she not the whole youre troops.
You can do this.
By the way the last scenario with Illidan was enjoyable and the counter too,that took you some more work i believe.
but yeah the campaign was great.

@Morris Thanks. Yes, I remove the optional quests since I think it's pointless but I will do something to those optional quests. About the Battle for Shattrath. My usual tactic is to build 2 ancient of wars one for each base (Aldors,Scryers) and build 3 huntress and 2 archers to assist them in combat and the rest of the food goes to my defense againts Illidan.

I'll give your strategies a try. I lost last time because of something strange all of our bases were attacked at the same time by a huge wave and I couldn't defeat the fel orcs in time to defend my allies
Not a glitch for sure, it must be me doing something wrong but can't remember
Anyway Sclammerz, are you planning to make more campaigns like this or do you have other finished campaaigns I can play?

The campaign was perfect
The story and script are well-written, the models are amazing, the terrain and doodads were just like the original TFT campaigns well-done,everything was great!

Haven't finished but so far 9/10 Warcraft done right.
Terrain, tech-tree, models, spells, all good, fitting and syncronized. The dialogue is rather unfitting, of situation and of characters, but the hotkeys for spell compensate. Your campaing makes Jewzzard's weak in comparision.
My major complain is Maiev model, l see you where going for heavy-armored but the other one is uncomparably better, l also notice the attack animation is from Kael, its really unsettling imo.
An elder Sage who used to be a int hero turned into a strengh based with physical related abilities is rather weird but oh well, if l may, Replacing the icon and name of the War Stomp to something like Mind Blast would be more fitting.
Rated you 5/5 because 4/5 doesn't make just cause and to boost your ego so you keep going.
Must have been a lot of work doing this, l can tell also by the credits, Thanks for the campaign.

Looks pretty epic, i was after something like this for a very long time :) . Maybe change the warden model back to the blizzard one? I liked that model more.

Well, it gave a fatal error with the second level, the first one was pretty fun, but i clearly underestimated the power of a fel grunt, he beated Maiev :D . All around, great first chapter :) . It could be just my warcraft 3 tho, no worries.

Good campaign! Love the concept. Well made terrain, good placing of doodads, suitable techtrees and well chosen Warcraft heroes! Although, it needs some improvements, this campaign receives a 4/5 from me.

oh yeah your right you have a point there, kael'Thas betrayed illidan and serve kil'jaeden but i think this campaign doesn't actually follow the story line in the rise of the blood elves it only focus on Maiev and her watchers

I just recently found this Maiev model that has the WOW look, with the Warden/Maiev animations. I think it's better than what's there now. Check it out and see if it's better

I'm really enjoying the campaign so far. You can tell a lot of time and effort went in to crafting it.

Just thought I would leave some feedback, though. I don't know if it's my computer layout (I can play the game with graphics cranked all the way up, it is a pretty old game), but the map in chapter 4 part 2 is very inscrutable. Even once you start building a base, it's very hard to see what's going on with all the fog effects and the darkness.

But like I said, so far I'm really enjoying the campaign a lot.
