But, with that out of the way, why would you want a 50 man RPG?!??!!

WC3's already filled to death with newfags that believe 'TYPIN LIK DIS IS TEH COOLZOR!!!1111', I can understand increasing it to 15, to suit your friends etc, but 30 is just stupid.

Stole what? Teh whole 50+ players?

The thing is, in battlefield people are too busy being the total 'PRO LONE HERO LOLWUT' to care about typing, whereas in Warcraft, if you are to touch someone with a spell they start screaming 'OMFG WTF LAME IMBA PIECE OFSHI- NERF IT NERF IT NAO DAMNIT THATS FU**ING LAME FFS OGMWTF WHY'D YOU DO THAT FU**ING WAN**R IMA COME RAPE YOUR DOG FFS NOB'.

And, on top of that, imagine the flamewars.

Every guy on WoW pays $15 per month.

$15 x 9.000.000 = 135.000.000 per month

135.000.000 x 12 = 1.620.000.000 aka 1,62 BILLION dollars.

And how long has WoW been here? 4 years. (2004)

$1,62 Bill x 4 = 6.480.000.000

AND THAT'S A LOT. Dude those guys are (...)ing RICH!

Make that 11 millions, and you still didn't count in CD/DVD profit (which is about like 3 months of playing it)

anyway...

everything must end some day, and this sc2 editor will surely bring the end of wc3 modding close to us, but on the other hand most of us people will gladly come back to 2c3 from time to time.

About the spamming thing... let's make the blizzard allow us to make better inventory system. For example let us choose if we want it to have 1 or 101 slots, if we want it to have character and backpack slots, if we want it to have head, neck, shoulder, chest, wrist, hands, belt, leggings and feet slots or just head, chest and feet. And to let us place them at will, like however we want to (head on top, chest beneath it or chest on top of inv and leggings beneath it etc) or something if you know what i mean...

I think they should at least give us more flexible interface. For example, allow us to set minimap's position to somewhere else on the screen, or move command buttons (for example let us to move all buttons from first row (0,0 - 0,3) somewhere else on the screen, buttons from second row (1,0 - 1,3) somewhere else etc) or atleast let us chose if we want our bars one atop of each other like they are now or one next to each other like in wow. Let us move chat log, unit info and stuff like that. That would be really cool and extremely useful imo

Hey, if it turns out that the Starcraft 2 Editor is more powerful and easier to work with than the Warcraft 3 editor, don't think of it as death.

Think of it as, evolution.

After all, we tried making starcraft on Warcraft 3 countless times.

I'm sure we can just recreate our projects in a new format when Starcraft 2 comes out.

Very.

Hell, I still play Starcraft sometimes. And there's probably a large Korean population that won't necessarily abandon Starcraft when its successor comes out.

Well, they probably won't be able to support the game, considering its possible system requirements. Starcraft is easily affordable to play since it run's on practically anything.

But if they were, who's to say blizzard won't allow the original setting for starcraft. They are including all the old units in the editor after all. A couple fan's could just re-edit the stat's if blizzard doesn't. Then viola, Starcraft in beautiful 3-D.

All scratched units will be in the editor though. Hopefully Karune asked the board(After a discussion which Karune and a fan had) to add the older models of the tank, bunker, marines and thor etc. into the editor as well.
