The idea behind this was a basic unit with the ability to switch between axe and spears, so to have a versatile and adaptable soldier, without having to build two almost identical version of it. Hope someone will use this idea.
It replaces both axeman and spear-thrower bandits.

One thing that is different in these models, the face polygons that give a much derpier look on the spearman version. Basically the face is made of two simple polygons, so it's all flat or stretched.

Wow, that looks amazing. I really love the shield/axe combo and the detail on the back of the armor is phenomenal. Maybe consider Runic Item Attachments?

This is too good. What a creative way to achieve a "dual-unit"; changing one texture that both use.

A very suitable Nordic style.
