Quick question about signature advertising

When it comes to advertising, I know you can't advertise websites not affiliated with the Hive, but in your signature are you allowed to link to your forum-space for a map that you're making through the Hive?

If you are referring to a hosted forum here at the Hive, I don't see why not, there are hundreds linking to their project threads in the map development forum, and a hosted forum shouldn't be any different.

Not quite, I mean a separate webspace like an invisionfree forum based on your map.

Advertising a site for promotion only will result in infractions and link removal. Whether or not it is for promotion only is the staff's decision. You are, however, allowed to promote sites through your signature file if the sites are not offending.

so id say it is allowed, depends mainly on the staff.
