Question - Map Size

Logically thinking...the online play using Single Player would get rid of that 4 MB map limit from Battle.net.
..Right?

Yes, it will, but it'll also remove the old way of automatically getting maps downloaded when you join, now you have to download it off a site before you can join. We will try to provide a way to make sure you'll always know where to download a map.

With features like that though, it shouldn't be too hard to get people to download it off a site first.

As an artist and one whos played around with RtC myself, I love being able to use a lot of nifty models and 512x512 textures ^^

also on the issue of valadation
why not have a spetial enoded file in the map that will give all of that data out

If people are smart enough to get the mod, i think they will be smart enough to go to a website and dl a map honestly, besides maybe we can set up a special section here on the hive or another site or something dedicated to RtC maps.
