I'm just learning about preloading thanks to death's tutorial.

I am noticing some annoying lag spikes when I start playing music (normal blizzard music). This is messing up some of my carefully timed cinematics. Is there a way to preload music so that it doesn't cause these spikes?

I've encountered this problem before. I think if you use a song as a "sound type" and not a "music" type, it can cause a lag spike when first played.

Simply fixed by using songs as "music" and not "sound". Just thought I'd share. Seems like you already have a solution.
