Part'og River

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

This map is set in the Barrens tileset, and is made to be a very standard 1v1 map. Balanced, and somewhat symmetrical, this map has quite a few choke-points, and just as many wide open areas leading to some decision making on whether to fight or not. The expansion spots are somewhat difficult to get to, but are quite easy to defend as there is only one way into them. Plenty of creeps, and resources are in such quantity that you will probably never run out of gold mines or wood. There are shops across the tree line from your natural expansion, mercenary camps further down from your base, and fountains of health at the start and end of the river.

So this is the first map you're telling me right?

Well just like your other map that I review, layout wise, is really good, with a lot of routes leading to one area to another. The real problem is that the terrain is damn empty, add more doodads like totem, bones, rocks and anything that looks fitting on your theme. Also the starting area is really small you should widen it a little. Well its still acceptable for me.

how would one add screenshots? i can't figure it out :C

There are two ways I know of:

Download a screenshot taker online, take the screenshot in-game or in the WE, upload them in the Pastebin (you should be able to know how to do this, even if it's your first time because the Pastebin is easy to understand) and then take the image link of the uploaded pictures and put them in your main post via [IMG][/IMG] tags.

You could also put them in an album in your profile and copy the BB code included with the picture.

Another way is use the Prt Sc key (Print Screen) and take the whole picture of your current window, then go to Paint, press Ctrl + V, then save the image in paint. Then go to the Pastebin, upload the picture then put it in your main post via [IMG[][/IMG].

Questions?
