2) resistant to magic (has chance to reduce damage dealt, but it's possible to still get 1.0 damage)

Raven : "From what I have known from a defecting elite of theirs, the leader of the new Night Empire faction, son of Emperor HaltWatch ; Emperor MoonWatch says that it seems NullMagic is aiming to block the only passage to their realm by destroying Egilian soils and take control of it completely. He claims that the passage is mentioned to be Icarus City."
Raven : "I know it's odd trusting a former opponent elite, but he has proof his defection with he engages with SunWatch, his own older brother and NullMagic entire battalions at his Night Empire. He said, if he is allowed to enter Icarus City, he can open us a gate that allows direct advance to NullMagic defenses. Currently, he and his forces, along with the entire The Magic Kingdom remaining army is engaging with them at your soils, somewhere near here."

Despite never being stated directly by Emperor MoonWatch what NullMagic aims from Egilians, but with he states his plans on Icarus City, Raven can assume that much since Egilians practically has no quarrel with NullMagic directly. The aim is to take over Icarus City and seal the last remaining accessible route.

Also, to explains deeply about the entire mechanism of how NullMagic actually create gates (this is boring to read actually, but should fully explains why) :
Gates are by far the most powerful defense mechanism ever existed or so it was claimed, created by Emperor Arkazmone and perfected by Emperor Arzemon.
The gate is created through a special mean, only known by Commanders or higher ranking members to get their army on the move. And only high members can create multiple gates at once.
However, to commence a reverse gate (Vestroya -> NullMagic), the only members can use a direct execution are Emperor HaltWatch and his Family, Seven Sins, and Emperor Arzemon, there are some Generals who possibly can use this as well, assumably MarkSlayer as the Grand General and Commander of the entire armies.
However, since Emperor MoonWatch defected, the system was slightly altered, which renders Emperor MoonWatch unable to use this reverse mean on Vestroya, despite his hacking attempt (the reverse mean has far higher security measures which MoonWatch can't bypass due to danger it possess to NullMagic, that is exposing themselves into war in their lands). However, the special spot (Icarus City) has no mean of restriction (aka no blockade), and anyone who has know the reverse mean (even the older ones) can easily bypass the restriction and enters NullMagic.

The Grand Plan actually is also part of Razketh's "secret" plans to secure the future of TMK from any extra unnecessary war. And no, it's not another WoMD, but something else.

I would say concentrating power on Icyarctic can be quite interesting.
I'll go with Leave for Icyarctic.
Also, the paladins (Manadar, Ballador) are additional characters, and yes ; you can get rid of them.

Raven : "Death Mountain is another Mountain next to Doom Mountain (remember battle vs Joker?) which is twice as dangerous as Doom Mountain, and worst, one is very limited there unless they know certain techniques, which sadly MK hasn't created yet."
Mask : "I have a prototype which could get handy to get through the mountain."
Mask : "however, it might have certain issues and anomalies."
Nevar : "alright, this Death Mountain is quite ridiculous sister, how we're going to bypass it?"
