Hi everyone,

I've been playing FreeCell Solitaire a lot lately and enjoy the challenge, but I still lose more games than I'd like.

I understand the basic rules and try to think ahead, but I often get stuck with no moves left.

Are there any tips, strategies, or common mistakes I should be aware of that could help improve my win rate?

Also, how important is it to clear columns early, and when should I start moving cards to the foundation?

Any advice from seasoned players would be greatly appreciated.

One key habit is keeping at least one free cell and one column open as long as possible, since that gives you flexibility to recover from bad layouts. I usually delay moving cards to the foundation until it clearly helps unblock moves, clearing columns early is often more valuable.
