as the title says I need Hero and Item ideas xD
I Am about to make an AoS map
If you can give story for the heroes which dont have stories, id be glad to give credits and rep of course ;)
Heroes you submit will of course need a decent combo and I would change some of the skills to make it balanced
for the Item ideas it should be basic

Water Lord (use Hydra Model)
Skill1 tsunami creates a wave aof water from the hero
Skill2 Drown (drowns an enemy unit on dry land)
Skill3 tri Attack (every third attack the hero attacks multiple enemies)
Skill4 Mitosis (passive: similar to padarans ulti, but is cast once the units health is below 20%)

There is an Acolyte modelled Dark Mage with kick-ass spells and spell effects. However, these spells made when I didn't even know what MUI and leakless means.

anyway +rep for giving the idea xD and I had a change of plans , I didnt have enough hero ideas so I would separate them when I have enough hero Ideas xD

@Marsal - Holy .... overpawned skills, I wouldnt know how to make those kind of skills, do those skills use triggers or simple models ?? xD

An idea I had a while ago, but I gave up on it cuz I didn't have the right map for that kind of hero. I think he'll fit nicely in an arena.

Theme : Fire based martial artist. Maybe a blademaster or the fire panda or something.
What he does : Chases really good, is very dynamic, evades damage, deals mediocre damage.
What he doesn't do : Deal good sustained damage, wastes a lot of mana, squishy if his spells are on cd or he got disabled or he is out of mana.


Skill 1 : Throws fire chains at a target location/unit. If it hits, the target is stunned, and the caster is dragged to the target.
Notes : It can be a skill-shot or a point and click thingie. Skill shot fits more but I guess both are fine.

Skill 2 : A violent attack pushes the target back and damages it.
Notes : Simple - melee attack with knockback.

Skill 3 : The caster turns into a fireball and moves the targeted area, exploding there and damaging/stunning units hit.
Notes : You target an area, your hero turns into something fiery which moves to the area and explodes there.


Ultimate : Intense heat creates a thick curtain of smoke around the hero, rendering him invisible and maxing his movement speed but breaking on attack.
Notes : Basically, a real low duration wind walk with max ms and short cd. Mostly used to evade projectiles and damage in general. Should cost quite a bit of mana.


Reasoning - Simple spells but decent synergy. You can initiate with chains, push back, go back in with 3rd skill and chase with ultimate. Or if you're chased, you can escape with ult, go back with chains, push back, go away with ult again, fight back with 3rd skill and juke and ult etc.



I also have a map where i experimented with special effects but i didn't get to finish. I can send it to you if you want :) (i think there were some 5-6 heroes in it)

yeah you could pass the map it would be great for references
apparently, I can only do basic spells ( the ones in the editor ) and I cant make advanced spells yet cause I am not yet good at triggers,vJass etc
still If i get the chance to learn advanced spells in the future I may use this
+rep for the help :)

Anyway, I will pm you the map, but bear in mind that the heroes are kinda buggy >.<

its ok I prefer normal spell typed hero but with a good combo just like in defense of the ancients ;D
@Narogog where is the tri attack ? will be waiting ;D
oh and in the drown spell can there be a chance that while unit is in drown make armor invulnerable ?\
@Marsal do i have to export the imported models ??

Wind Tribe Hero

Skills:
1. Breeze Forth
- Zephiro transforms into a breeze and flows to the target area and goes back to his normal form, units around the area where he arrives at gets "x" damage.
2. Encumbering Aura
- The windy presence of Zephiro slows enemy units around him.
3. Torrential Winds
- Calls forth the winds to damage the target unit "x" damage per second for "x" seconds
4. Aeolus' Grasp
*Channeling*
- Zephiro calls upon the power of the Windlord to force units to move towards him while damaging everybody in the area through out the duration of the spell. ( basically, the skill forces all units within range to get pulled towards Zephiro while taking damage per sec.)

I am going to make you another hero,
here is what it will have
Incinatrant the Lava Demon
skill1:Crack: Incinatrant travels under-ground to a target location the springs forth along with a geyser of lava.
skill2:
Skill3: One with Fire: passive, gives a 30/35/40/45 chance on attack to ignite enemy units in a line.
also reduces damage done to Incinatrant from ultimate
Ultimate:(insert good name): Incinatrant open the earths crust to create a massive pillar of lava
the lava damages everything including hero, but the damage done to Incinatrant is reduced by his Oneness with Fire

From the fiery seas of the Plane of Fire hails the mighty Meteor Golems. These molten constructs are the molders of the world in the beginning before the Flame Lord has been banished from its face. Now they became the Flame Lord's agents of destruction sent to the world, mindlessly melting and crushing the very land that they once help create, lost in obedience of their vengeful master.

Stealth Assassin
Kitana, also known as the "Shadow's Blade" has been reputed to be the most notorious assassin the lands of Rigaria even had. He can bring a Tauren down in one single strike without the victim even knowing what hit him. He has been exiled from the Night elf society because of his practice of the forbidden Shadowbonding, this rejection only fueling his addiction because of hatred, leading him to resort to killing those who persecute him. Some say that there is no more Kitana left in him, only the shadow that engulfed his whole mind.

Water Lord
Beneath the perilous waters of the Maelstrom hides a creature more dangerous than the unrelenting waves. Aquetos is a titan that has been told in legends by seafarers of old. He protects the seas and oceans from those who intoxicate its tranquil and prosperous reaches. Awaken from his hundred-year sleep, he rises up to the surface to bring torment to those who dared defile his domain.

Strength Hero
Dark Tribe (what else with Shadow in his title lol)

A former elite musketeer, Athos was known by many names, including imposing titles such as "Death Incarnate" and "Black Edge". But all that was lost when he was thought to be killed in a war.

Ten years later, however, Athos returned, pretty much unscathed and seems to be less of a jerk than before. But something seems wrong with him. He seems too nice compared to before.

What exactly happened to him, nobody knows. And nobody will.

Skill 1: Forceful Slash
Strikes a line in front of Athos with a tremendous force, inflicting damage and stun. The strain of using this technique will slow down Athos' attack speed by X% for X seconds.

Skill 2: Summon Confidants
Summons Athos' two most trusted men, Pothos and Aramis. Pothos is a melee tank with Taunt, Bash and Thunder Clap variant. Aramis is a gender-ambiguous ranged DPSer with Evasion, Feedback and Fan of Knives.

Skill 3: Aura of Fear
Athos' presence strikes fear to the hearts of his foes. Slows down the attack speed and movement speed of nearby enemies by X%. Every 60 seconds, all enemies attacking Athos will be forced to attack other units for 10 seconds.

Ultimate: Sealing the Pact
Athos offers himself as a catalyst for the very demon who saved him from the brink of death, Thanatos (bet you didn't see that coming). Fully heals Athos and transforms him into Avatar of Thanatos, gaining Chaos-type attack, bonus health and makes his confidants stronger. Pothos gains Spiked Carapace and bonus armor, Aramis gains Carrion Swarm and increased attack speed.

Skills
Air Shield (protects caster.. reduces damage taken from range attacking units.. additional effect(at max level) damages opponents that attack the hero.)
Tornado (releases a tornado that damages opponents that it passes.. next level 2 tornado, next level 3, next level 4 tornados..)
Hurricane (engulfs self with a powerful hurricane(hero at the center).. damages nearby enemies that approach the hero.. circumference increases with skill level)
Thunderstorm (calls for raincloud that strike powerful thunderbolt on enemies... )

Mozvan has a wrong skill…. Ricochet is a when a bullet bounces and hits other target…. The skill mozvan has is what you call a spread shot….. quite imbalanced since it hits a lot of targets…. Why not try to make it just like luna moonfang…. Chance that his bullet bounces off to 6 targets….. since it is by chance make it 6 targets from the beginning…… spread shot was disabled when I equipped piercing item…

If you can change elementalists attack into a clear one it would be better…. Nice graphics for the skills….. Error on key for ulti and first skill…. Seems like there is an error on the triggers…

Nerub, the Soul within the Ankh


Nerub
First Skill "Crushing Soul" - Whenever Nerub attacks an enemy, he gains 1 stack of Crushing Soul. When he has 4 stacks of Crushing Soul, his next skill deals 45/65/85/105/125 bonus damage.

Second Skill "Wraith Fury" - Nerub quickly strikes all targets within a cone in front of him 3 times, dealing 55/75/95/115/135 damage and slowing enemies within the area by 35%. (Damage done on each cone is 1/3rd above damage, however it will deal that damage if they are in all the cones)

Third Skill "Crucifix" - Nerub smashes his ankh into the target, dealing 35/45/55/65/75 damage and causing his next attack to deal 4% of his targets maximum mana as damage.

Ultimate "Shatter" - Nerub shatters his ankh on the target, dealing 150/230/360 damage and stunning units within 400 units of him for 3 seconds.

HI! i'm a friend of dkshade.. and he asked me to come up with hero ideas and stories and stuff.. .. i'm not really a warcraft fan but, i just want to share my idea.. k k hope it could help..

it's a story on how the elementals made it to the warcraft world haha... i don't know if it will have a connection xD

As had been stated in the myths and legends, the creation of ______(world.. the world of warcraft) and all its creatures was caused by plain boredom of the gods—gods who grew tired of their infinite lives. Having hastily planned and worked out on this world, the gods finished their childish creation in a blink of an eye unable to foresee the future outcome of their rush decision. And without worry and concern, the gods indolently watched with pleasure as the different factions of the new world fought for their own survival.

Eons and ages had passed. It was going well in the world for a long time and even without the intervention of the gods, it was peaceful and quiet. But some factions desired supremacy and superiority among the other creatures and began to take control by FORCE. This incident led to the imbalance of existence among the dwellings—strong groups rose up and obtained higher ranks, weaker groups were forced into slavery and the ones who refused to yield suffered extinction.

The uprising disproportion in the world of ______, resulted to the intervention of the gods. They’ve sent their own representatives to help into bringing back of harmony and balance. The gods of nature were one of the first to do so. They summoned never before seen creatures to aid in the restoration of balance. The gods of fire, air, earth, water and energy conjured beings of their own likeness. Thus, the creation of Elementals took place.

Elementals are product by great power from nature to intervene with the broken balance of forces.

Zyphyr, the wise and cunning air element called to life by the god of air. She attacks with range air blasts and is powered by swift and sharp air magics. Can cast air shield to reduce damage taken from attacks. Can invoke thunderstorm to its aid.

Firo, the hot-tempered and impatient fire element conjured by the god of fire. He is well equipped with fiery fists for close hand combats and violent raging fire base skills to release his inner fury. Can cast protection from fire to reduce attacks taken as well as to return a percentage of damage to the attacker.

Undine, the always calm and serene water element summoned by her master, the god of water. She is blessed with gentle water skills for support as well as furious spells for offense. Can manipulate her molecular density of water to turn it into ice.

Erdo, the diplomatic and tactical earth element, brought to existence by the god of earth. Commonly seen planning behind his commanded troops, supporting them with earthly aura which increases attack, defense, and hit point recovery. Though seldom seen as a frontliner, he can unleash a surprise attack by stomping the ground causing the earth to shake and generate deadly quakes.

So you need heros or only stories? If heros I have some here and there xD

Hero name:Lana - [Int]
Lana should have been the next queen of the demon's realm. However, due to a traitor's intrigues she had to hide somewhere, as because of false evidences her underlings rejected her - and even if she was not the strongest demon, then at least one of them, she could not claim the throne by force against such a mass of rebells. Only a few of them knew the truth, but only Lana had to power to do the unthinkable: she opened a portal to the world of mortals by her own power-a feat done by no one before, as the rift should only be able to opened from the other side. But in the world of mortals she found out easily that the races will hunt her in her real form - and thus she take on a form acceptable by mortal means. But because the mages could feel her powers, she had to seal them well - so she doesn't seem to be more than a mere demon summoner - with a seal that her body could only bear once in hundreds of years, so she can only unmake it if there is no need for it for at least that much time. Hero spells:

Unholy/Demonic Mark - Lana consumes a % of her mana (depending on skill level) dealing the consumed mana*[MODIFIER] to target unit. The target is marked, and when it dies, Lana gains a Mark of Hell as she stores the soul of the dead. She can have 20 Marks maximum. Marks disappear if she didn't gain one for a minute. In True Form it incrases the remaining time.

Dark Flames - Summoning her remaining powers, Lana summons flames from her realm which erupts from the ground at the target place. If a unit dies in the process, his soul turns into of a lesser demon's, living for matter of seconds before it is sucked in by the realm of demons or by the Mark on it. If a hero dies in the process, his soul will turn either into a lesser demon's for a long time (time depends on his level) or into a greater demon's for a short time (time depends on his level).
Damage+lesser demon from unit time+demons power from hero incrases with level.

Dark Flames(True Form) - In her true form Lana summons demonic flames into the entire area (~300 range?) around her. If a unit dies in the process, his soul will turn into of a greater demon's for brief seconds before disappearing. If it's a hero, then it's soul will turn into a Demon Lord's before disappearing.

Demonic Call - LONG COOLDOWN
Lana emits an overwordly scream, empowering her minions. If she has at least 4 or more non-Demon Lord minions around, they merge into a greater demon, with the added life time of all the demons melting into it.

Demonic Call(True Form) - LONG COOLDOWN (Only usable once per true form)
Lana emits an overwhelming scream, dealing damage to the surrounding units, no matter what they are with the only exception of demons. The damage is greater as a unit is closer to Lana. If she has 4 or more minions around, they merge into a Demon Lord, with half their added life time.

Ultimate: True Form
It needs at least (3 to 5-up to you) Marks of Hell on Lana. It removes all Marks from Lana, as she uses the power of souls she collected to temporary release her seal, revealing her true form for 1 second for every Mark she had. In her form, she gains lots of bonus max mana, some bonus damage, and ranged attack. While casting in her true form she has 1% chance that her powers in the mortal realm tears a rift between the worlds, summoning one of her enemies, but amids the chaos it won't be able to choose his target. If True Form ends, Lanas mana is reduced to 0 and she is weakened for a half minute.

(A neutral hostile Greater Demon or Demon Lord(depends on her level or ability level), random distance(1-600) and direction from her)

Default Passive: Demon Princess
As Lara is the Demon Princes, every demon close to her can feel it, thus enemy demons attacks with less confidence knowing her true power. Enemy demons deal 30% less damage around her (neutrals do not!)

When Lara is casting spells, every nearby non-hero enemy has 1% chance to feel the touch of her true powers, terrifying them. Units terrified by this ability run right to the opposite direction from her until they are at least X range from her. Effect lasts for 5 seconds. (Units have the chance separately)(Percentage can be lowered to 0.5%)

Lesser Demon: Not too strong, but you'll see "What balance dictates" :D

Greater Demon: Has the power of 3 lesser demons-so around a low level low gear hero.

Demon Lord: Has a low-power Immolation aura as passive ability (item ability-immolation)
It's power is around medium level hero with medium level gear ;) So a max-level hero with no gear will be able to deal with it, ableait it wont be easy. A high level-medium gear one should kill it at ease, as it doesn't really have skills with the exception of Immolation.
Well she IS strong in her true form but I think it's well balanced with the negatives it gives :D. And she can only summon demon lords in true form ^^ If you feel her too weak/strong this way you have my permission to modify her although I want to see the results ^^

Hero Name:Qul'Dah - [Int]
There was nothing... No sounds, no things to touch... Not even others... He was all alone since the beginning... And then it happened - he had been called - summoned from his realm - the realm of Nothing and Everything, also known as the Void. After he has been summoned he had to learn that it's not true that he was alone - but in the infinite realm it could easily seem like that. He've been thankful for the summoner, as his life's got a meaning - and in exchange for it, he helped the mage in everything he could. Meanwhile it turned out that he's susceptible for magic - and as he learned it, his link to his realm showed itself in his spells. His old friend, the mage K'nal died 27 years after they first met - he was killed by an assassin. Qul'Dah swore revenge and while looking for the assassin he found himself as a participant of a war

Hero Spells:

Void Rift: Qul'Dah opens a rift to the void, knocking every unit away from it. Units coming close to it gots sucked in. When the rift closes, trapped units come back to this realm, albeit some of their very existence gets left there, dealing damage for every second they spent in the rift. Damage dealth this way increases more by time (1s=x total dmg 2s=2.5x or 3x total dmg 3s=4.5x or 5x etc. the point is it doesn't increase linearly)

Void Portal: Qul'Dah opens a portal trough the void, connecting his current location to his home. His portal is only usable by allies and it can be used in any direction, but it costs a % of their life(Qul'Dah is an exception). The portal remains there for a short time (10s?) (usable by clicking on it and "purchasing" a dummy unit)

Void Sphere: Summons a targetable sphere near Qul'Dah and at target location. The spehres are connected in the void - and thus by dealing damage to any of them will deal damage to the closest unit to the other. Spell duration increases with spell level.

Ultimate: Void Grab: Qul'Dah grabs the target and takes it to the void with himself. Qul'Dah won't let the target unit go until it dies, Qul'Dah gets stunned, knocked back, silenced or until Qul'Dah dies. The target loses a % of his total life for every second he is in the void. The spell drains Qul'Dah's mana constantly (a % of it, most likely the same % as the life loss) and if his mana is out, both of them returns to the place they came from. Channelled spell - ending it will return both units to their original place.

Default Passive: Void Walker: Being in the void won't damage this unit.

Hero Name:Kaldar - [Str]
He's been born as the son of the leader of his tribe - and so his fate was to be the next one. He was always knew for his immense strength, which with he could overwhelm any foe. As he grew up, he became the leader of the tribe - a fair but strong-handed leader. Then he heard the call of his blood, which meant that his powers and his tribe's are needed somewhere - and so they came.

Abilities:

Crush: Kaldar hits his target with such a force it flies backwards. If it hits an enemy, they both take damage. If it hits a wall, it takes double damage.

Brute Force: Kaldar's attacks have an overwhelming power in them, ignoring some of the target's armor. If his target dies, his organs explodes from the pressure on them, sending his limbs on a fly - damaging the first enemy in their path.

Tribe: Kaldar calls for help from his tribe, summoning fellow orcs to aid him (they follow him but player doesn't have control).

Ultimate - Limitless Strength: Kaldar hits his target with such an incredible force that both of them fly in the opposite directions until they hit something. For Kaldar, if it was a unit, he stops, stunning the unit, but if it was a wall, he is stunned and damaged. For his target, if it hits a unit, it flies with him, and they stop only if they hit a wall. Then they are stunned and take a huge damage divided between them.

Default Passive - Tribe's Revenge: If Kaldar dies, some members of his tribe will come to take revenge.

Hero Name: Elana - [Agi]
She was always trained to be a vanguard of the Great Forest. She was not born out of love, but to be a soldier. And thus she did so - she was trained as an archer to guard the forest, why would she not guard it? She didn't even know anything else than archery - and in that, she felt that something was amiss. Then one day, as she patrolled the forest, she spoted a human without any kind of authory, so she did as she has been teached - but just before the moment of the shot, the human stood up and walked a bit away - so she had to change position. As she did get to a new position, the branch broke undeer her and she fell - but not on the ground, instead UNDER it. It was a well-made trap, and she fell into it. But then the human helped her out and told her, that he did it out of a bet and apologized. But from that point, she know what she missed in her art so much - and so she followed the human, and eventually she learned his art of trap-making.

Abilities:

Hawk Shot: Elana takes a good shooting position, carefully aiming at a target even in the distance. The arrow goes in a straight line but with an incredible speed empowered by her enchanted Vanguard bow. (It means that it can miss from a greater distance-homing disabled-but it's speed is 2000 or more.)

Set Arrow Trap: Elana sets a trap which will shoot from her position towards the target point a fiery arrow with poisoned tip. It activates if any enemy units moves into to line. Last for X seconds. Cooldown: X/3 seconds (or 4-up to you)

Set Magic Trap: Elana puts on the ground a special metalic plate which can only be bought from the black market. This plate emits a fireball at the closest enemy or the first enemy in it's range. Lasts for X seconds. Cooldown: X/2 seconds.

Ultimate - Trap Focus: Elana uses strings to focus all of her traps in X range of her at the target point and fire them.

Default - Shadowmeld


They are not specifically for you, but for another AoS style map, but it's creator didn't respond for a week and so I removed them from there and put them here, I guess he got all the heroes he needed ^^ The default abilities can be ignored, they only give minor bonus for the character's general gameplay

Their story can be altered, and maybe their skills a bit to fit your theme (instead of demons could call elementals for example, but I think even in an elemental war a fire/shadow demon princess can find her way). Balance is up to you.

Thanks Kanadaj, now I got a lot of work to do. The heroes you gave have complete information( Yes I need stories and if you have some in mind you can take a look at the 1st post and make stories for those who does not have one ;) ) and yeah, I might tweak up or change a little bit of the skills cause I only need 4 skills and the 4th one is the ultimate. I might not be able to use the models you have given as it takes much space but if I am almost finished and I see that the map size is small Ill try to reconsider changing the models. anyway great job and +rep, Ill give more when I am able xD.
