im makeing a tribute to the bungie game MArathon the halo of 1995 but i cant seem to figuer out how to make it a loading screen i was wandering if you could make one of these into a loading screen can you help me??

Do not put both of those loading screen in the same map. Otherwise, since there are 2 LoadingScreen.mdx, it might mess up.

hmmm RED BARON is doing it, i will ask him to know if its nearly finished.

And templar, what do you mean? you want 4 file (2 blp and 2 mdx)?? instead of the rar files..

If its because you dont have winrar, go download it here. You need it to decompress the rar files.

Oh sorry, forgot it in the heat of the moment. Was reading for my math exam, which I passed with honor yesterday. But then forgot your loading screen. It is done tomorrow (dinner time).

ok i imported it into my map but for some reason the screen is black >_< can some one tell me what i did wrong , also if i cant fix it will some one be kind enough to make a map with ashvale terran with my loading screen >_< and i just edit to it?

Seems like you importet the model correctly, but didnt import the picture correct. Check if you used the correct path for it.

Here it is, Chief-Oblivion. You need to put the 2 files, in the same folder. Then, you go in the import manager (F12). You right-click, and you select import. You import the file. Do that with the other file. When both files are in the import manager, double-click one. Then check 'Use custom path'. You then, remove war3mapimported\ from it. Remove it, the same way, from the other file. Then, you imported correctly, and you have the good 'paths'.

The last thing to go is go to Scenario -> Map Loading Screen... You check 'Use Imported File' and you select the 'LoadingScreen.mdx' you just imported.

PS : Templar, read what i just wrote. If you still can't get it to work, I'll make you another one.. Or, just send me your map. I will add the loading screen (if you dont want it public, just go upload it in a THW's 'pastebin'. Then, PM me the link to it.)

Most of the times a loadingscreen is the finishing touch to a map, not the first. Well it doesnt matter as long as you didn't request a custom loadingscreen.

Anyhow, I actually planned to do it for you, but you havent importet the files in the map, so I leave it to hubcool.

Hey hubcool, i got another one for you. The link that I posted is a pic of 2 people (i only want the guy on the left). I want the writing that I posted on the left side in red coloring with a black background. And I want the guy on the left and the writing on the left (so he is facing the lettering).

Silverfish, maybe I'm really noob but, the guy on the left is facing the right, but you want it to face the text, and you want the text on the left. So it's impossible, what I can do is translate the guy to make it facing the left, so he looks the text on his left. Is that what you want?

Flip it, remove the lady and write the text - should be easy enough

Sorry, I didn't notice your request the first time. Here is your loading screen (I took the second pic you posted). Put blp and mdx in the same folder. When you import them, remove war3mapimported\ from both files.
