looks like some sort of demon. (with all those teeth) Like he is ready to rip anything that moves, with his teeth. Looks like he got twisted by chaotic energies from mine, into your more demonic version XD
challenge section. Isnt that like any other competition, where you have to start before the comp starts. And i think that they have a new system where the loser gets -rep
I just quickly exported several videos of Lord Naj'entus to give you an idea of his anims.
They are in *.flv (Flash Video) Format and so need a player like VLC (both Windows and Mac) to play them.
I'm using the model as it is in the game in the WoW Model Viewer version 0.6.0.3, so I would think its correct, and if it isn't, it looks cooler with the fins on his back and around his head.
Maybe someone else can animate him - if you know anyone who can animate.
But if not in-game anims might be sufficient.
Varsaigen, as I said I think its because it uses Alpha and the thottbott one doesn't seem to like it. You can see this in the second and third picture, you can see the shell through the fins.
Please, please, please consider adding this to your model Misha - it would look so much better and more Naga like.
adding more details means more pollies and that means bigger filesize. besides if i add those it will look bad because it needs animating, which i don't know.
and varsaigen could tell you the same.... now he knows how to animate, buut.... it is tedious beyond your imagination.
oh god. the blizzard meshes are so screwed up D: all bones seem connected from the spine (just for the tail segments), it's not even funny! O_O I do not want to rig a naga model, nor animate it! O_O I'd die before making it look good! O_O
O_O ow. my eyes! So many orange fins! and... he'd have to crawl. the area below his chest wouldn't allow him to swim, since it's all skin and bone, and not a single working muscle D: talk about malnutrition D:
Now ... with a few more tweaks and geomerges, it will be a perfect monster of the deep. And the thinness too can be explained by the almost unreal fishes that dwell in the ocean depths :] (anathomycly speakin)
... but he isn't a fish. he's a naga. He has to have SOME muscle D: otherwise, he'd be a freak of nature crawling along the floor with bones everywhere. give him some wider tail under the chest. D: he would be left to crawling and not slithering or swimming like normal naga (even freaks) do D:
Chaos and Var..... have you seen how freaky and impossibly thinn some deep fishes are? I will carry on as i planned with this naga.... and when i finish the design, then i'm open to change the waist area, if i change it at all.
and.... why do i keep stealin' your ideas var oO;; I thought of that anglerfish naga >.>;;
I know that it technically can be that thin, but i think it would look much cooler if it was a little more built. Or at least decrease to diameter of the chest, because the difference in chest and stomach size looks wierd.
Uh... i've tried the gulper eel, it looks horrendous on a naga D: ...... tweakin' it to be right would require aditional pollies and custom animations D: , (gulper eel naga), which i'm sure you var won't even try to make Cx
Nooo. Wow made naga look too showy. Their style isnt that cool. Why dont you try experimenting with those web buildings that you talked about. I would definately use them. And since FoO will be done soon(about a month more) i will be needing some naga building models for my next campaign.
