Hey misha, if you keep making naga, then i could pretty much consider you as the modeler for my naga campaign, lol. Deathknight, worker, and warlord, were all models that i requested, hehe.
Im getting so tired of FoO, i just want to finish it so that i can start the naga campaign. But its hard to get motivated to work on it. After im done the OotE (order of the elders) cinematics, then i will work on it and finish it. It would probably only take me an hour per map, now that i know how to trigger, so i dont know why im slacking so much, lol. Then i will start on the naga campaign and put your deathknight (and the others) to use. It will be an epic campaign. FoO will be crap compared to the naga campaign (mainly because i will actually try, lol)

I am planning on making four seperate naga races- Coilfang, daggerspine, bloodcursed, and wrathscale. They wont be full races (obviously). It will have 2-3 buildings with 4-5 units each. (mainly just to provide units and to make the campaign more unique and fun)
I am hoping to recruit a few modelers and skinners to make me some naga units.

Coilfang- Models will have a royal guard style of skin (green)

Daggerspine-Myrmidon or siren style skin(blue). temple like buildings(original naga buildings)

Bloodcursed-Warlord najentus style skin(red, and yes, again, planning the feast, rofl)-Buildings will be more coral like. With alot of coral attachments.

Wrathscale- deathknight style Woot!! lol

Ive already started designing them. Each one will have several unique features so that they are all different.

Well i still have to finish FoO. And then since i will be making the naga campaign ALOT better, It will be a LONG time before i actually need more models. So no rush.

I hate changing color on units, it looks like crap. And i dont really care about size. For a campaign, big size normally means good quality. Take the chosen one campaign for example: 100mb and still has over 10000 dls. So size isnt that big of a deal.

hehe

I dont see why people are afraid of size in campaigns. for example, instead of importing several awesome zombie models, they try to make 12 different units using one ingame zombie model. Or even worse, they change the color of something like a foot man and call it an undead soldier. I hate that, lol

just think. :3 Different buildings for each clan :p. Necro for Wrathscale. More of curved spikes around dark stone and coral buildings. Green magic floating above their sentry towers (acts as Ziggarat for undead (tower unit) and could poison them (Poison Arrow ability?) :p)

I am sure I could probably design a few of the buildings :p But the Coilfang would have the standard naga buildings, since they were royal guard :p

Daggerspine... most likely to have webbed buildings (like what allows an animal to swim. Not a spider's webbing XD)

Bloodcursed: More spikes, and lots of weapons in the design? :p More military-like :3

Nice ideas. First of all i want to let you know that i am not follow blizzard at all in the design of each race. And this takes place like 40 years after the time of arthas, so their cultures and other stuff like that have changed. I want to make the blood cursed more of an anomily type race. like najentus. I thought it would be cool to make make coral and shells growing growing their bodies. That is why i want them to have coral buildings. They became weaker (in military) but they are alot more Inteligent. Good point about the coilfang. I like the idea about the webbed buildings but i just cant picture what it would look like.

Daggerspine-Diplomatic race, Very intelligent
Coilfang-War race, Very strong, Midiam intelligence
Blood cursed-Experimental race,(especially with coral and sea life), High Agility, intelligent

That would be pretty cool with the web. But i dont think that it would suit my daggerspine clan. But for the bloodcursed it would be awesome. Great idea.

Naga Lurker: I'll show a pic :p It's really a simple edit though :/ Just need the rod to disappear with the death and decay anims (if anyone could help with that, I'd be grateful)

It's kinda a simple geomerge, but I think it's a cool idea nonetheless :p

EDIT: anyways, now it is complete! >:D

I could definatly make use of it for the daggerspine tribe. Its very simple, but i could use alot of simple models like that.

Sweet. That would be great. Cant wait to see the result.

Hmm, they should be mutated as you said, and not just a rod. You seem to have a better idea in your post above...

I would love a red and yellow skin for a Naga, even if it was a recolour... (*Ducks* Damn you Misha for being part of the CnP hunters - CnP if used well is a wonderful tool.)

It would create variety, rather than just green/blue skins.

(Basically all models use something CnP from Blizzard. Either a ribbon, or parts of the mesh, animations etc)

var@ Well how about moving the anglerfish rod on shoulder and maybe makin' another one on the other shoulder? also that round light could be done just with particles. :3
as for armor.... i think you should make freaky lookin' one shoulderpad and something on tail. and that should be enough :3

No, I'm not putting the rods on the shoulders. He's going to look more like an anglar fish, not a guy with shoulder lamps XD

Yeah, I could have made the light with particles, but I wanted to make sure they sank with the body, instead of staying on the surface. :/

Although if you're going to put it on the hive as naga worker, you will probably get killed by lore keepers with the fact that blizzard naga dont work, they get slaves. So maybe just call it a sorceress. But i will still use it as a naga worker. Its just like your deathknight, if you had called it naga hunter or somthing like that then you would have everyone complaining, lol.

I like the Female Naga Paladin (Warrior) that someone made on W3C. Its a shame about its dodgy attack animation =/, its still useable anyway. I would love a male Naga paladin too. (It would be even better if they sorta looked like each other, cept the male one being more like the Death Knight model you made.)

I like it, its a very different style to the default female Naga model. And that is probably why I like it so much.

I would like someone to really give some love to it though. I would prefer two hands instead of 4 (keep the bottom two hand's texture, and move the other two around a bit, if that makes any sense at all lol.), and the animations need a fix, especially attack which she slashes with both weapons, and only one gets a sound in the game. She needs to attack with only one really. =/
