A usefull tool because I'm a mass downloader. I open 4 tabsne for icons,one for models,one for skins and one for spells. Thei just start searching and downloading! 5/5

Oh, I also suggest adding an option to plant in Start Menu "all programs", and to remove older versions upon installing.

And allow "Enter" to press the button in Mass Copy.

You mean add a shortcut in Start Menu?

It already replaces the older version if the installer version is higher.

Installer/updater replaced with main app due to a bug with the installer.

Change log out of date. (not really necessary)

Expect an update some time soon.

Installer updated with the bug being fixed, installer now installs the application by itself rather than simply opening the setup file.

Description updated. (Added download link for .Net Framework)

Edit: Well the bug fix didn't work, but i created another version and this one finally fixed it. Tested on windows vista probably works on other windows too except for windows 8 which didn't really have the bug strangely.

Just noticed the setup file requests for .Net 4.5 which is unnecessary for the application and blocks XP users (which is why i based the application on .Net 4 instead of 4.5), will update the download server with the fixed setup file soon.

I would perhaps also try the app on Windows 7 to make sure the bug is fixed.

Edit2: Tested on Windows 7.

-Move recently downloaded icons (Similar to recent maps feature)
-Move recently downloaded models (Same as the previous)
-Plugin system with a class containing functions of the application

Ideas:

-Model & Icon Manager (part of the app, providing search functions with ability to select an Icon/model and put in an specific folder which makes it easier for modders to import them)
-Auto move recently downloaded maps (It would be cool wouldn't it?)
-Detect a newly downloaded map and move it to a folder (Its certainly not the same folder as the "Recent" folder. i don't really see the need of the previous idea with this implemented)
-Improve the Automatic game path detection system

Plugin system finished, only needs the ability to get the values from the application which is quite easy and can be done with a reference.

Edit: Automatic game detection system updated, the application now uses registry to get the exact game path with ease.

The usefulness it depends on the user, for example i had trouble with having to copy the maps every time i download (That is why i made this) but others may not find it really hard to do so.

The slow run is because the application tries to get news data from the internet so it may take some time, i will fix it in later versions.

There is a quit button for it, i will add an option to send to tray.

The installer downloads the files from the internet, but the application itself does not require it.

Edit: I have discovered how to quick run maps, there may be room for update.

At the risk of coming off as a dumbass, what does this tool do?

My Warcraft III Manager is a small tool which allows Warcraft III Players quickly copy downloaded maps,campaigns,models and icons or count the number of downloaded maps and campaigns and use many more features that ease the burden on users.
The tool was designed for easier and better Gaming and Modding Experience.

Does it search your computer for .blps and .w3x and whatnot and move them to another folder? I'm confused.

It searches zip files for existence of ".blp" or ".mdx", and moves the extracted archives to a folder located in game directory, then opens the folder in file explorer. (and of course, models and icons folders are separated)

As for maps and campaigns it moves them to their own existing folders in game directory. (maps are moved to their respective folder in the maps folder named by the user in settings)

There is also a recent maps feature which moves the recently downloaded maps to a "Recent" folder in the maps directory of the game. (How recent is also defined by the user)

All the searches are made inside the user's downloads folder.

Hi so to see if I understand correctly, I have about 325 unimported models and I am designing a campaign series custom sounds the whole works.. This would save me the time for having to import them into the editor? I was trying to find a detailed explanation of what this does..

It does not import the models (or icons) to the world editor.

What is does is separating downloaded models from your zip files (in your downloads folder) and placing the extracted archives in a folder (which is opened immediately after the process is finished)

Edit:New installer added, you can now both install and run the application flawlessly.
