Well it was ok at the start, but then half the song was just the same camera of the guitarist, which I found really, really boring. It would of been a lot better had you done something throughout the whole song, not just the guitarist for the whole song.

I didn't think the song really suited warcraft that much... and it's green day so that made it harder for me to watch too :p whatever floats your boat though so don't listen to that comment ;)

Still the shadow of kael dying was a nice effect, good luck with the rest.

Oh guys, he wanted us to judge the cinematic, not the music, so keep quiet if you have nothing to say about the cinematic. :croll:

Anyways, I watched it, but even if it's not yet completed, there are some big issues:
- Why the hell there is no Esc-Function? The map does not even end when the song is finished, it just keeps in cinematic mode and the only possibility to get rid of the map is quitting War3.
- Well, I don't know English good enough to be able to understand the text watching the cin the first time. Anyways, in a music cinematic I think the pictures should tell a story themselves; I understood nothing of it. If the map returned to map selection screen when it was finished, I would have watched it again, but since it didn't I don't want to do so.
- If you release unfinished maps for testing, it should be obvious what is ready and should be tested and what not. Just show a text message that the rest of the cinematic is not yet done when he is only shown playing the guitar and make it skipable! This is no effort, so just do it.
- Camera. In a cinematic without dialogue and a bigger story, cinematography is even more important than in a normal cinematic. So try to concentrate on moving the camera fluently and interesting, but still easy to watch. I doubt that at the moment you are ready for implementing my camera system to get the perfect smooth sway, because probably you don't have much experience with moving camera in war3 the normal WE way. But if you feel ready and want to know more, just take a look at it on my website:
Dragonblood Creation's Camera System

In general, I think making music cinematics in war3 could be a quite interesting thing, but for the moment, your cinematic should not be submitted to any contest, I think. It's much to early to rate this, if you want me to do that, it won't make you happy, so just work on it!
And keep in mind: also Test versions should have basic control features to make testing easy!
