model editing question

i edited a wow model and here is what it looks like in the editor

but when i open it in the editor he still has part of his weapon hanging off

How do i fix this??

funny, i edited this one before and this happened to me, just merge all geosets into one (the ones visible in wc3... there are some others that i don't remember what they are, but don't go there), save and view your results.

Do not do this.

Those bits are on a diffenret geoset, I beleive the third one. To swich geosets go up to file-> switch geoset. Then just put the geoset you want to go to. Those two things, sence they are alphaed to be like that, will look like from the side view a rectangle, but from the top and front like two lines.

hmmm i have litle knowledge texturing, but why does that need to be there?

Becuase two planes are only 4-8 polies, while to make that completely in the mes would be about 45-60 pollies.
Note that the doubled number in the 4-8 is due to some geoests not haveing twosided on thier material layer, and so a plane is actualy twice as big as as the plane is cloned and flipped so that it shows on both sides.
