K, maybe you should make a geoset animation making it brighter? as the normals make it pretty dark ingame, and it looks not as good as in the card.

Cool, but you should set its angle a little bit to forward, maybe even 90 degrees, so its like footmen (it stands 90 degrees compared to his hand), while this one is parallel to someones hand). Hope you understand what I said.

If not, open footman in magos and look how his shield is standing in unanimated mode.

While I'm not fond of the Yu-Gi-Oh series, I kinda like the shield that you made. Kinda reminds me of the Zelda games for some reason.

Would have been more useful and cooler if the red part was teamcolour.
