Medieval Building

This bundle is marked as lacking. It fails to meet the standard requirements and may only have minor use.
Everything is made from 0, modeled and painted, no copy paste.

HappyTauren took his time to fix and optimize it for war3 with 2 texture versions 512x256 and 256x128 px 256 colors, added a camera, squished the model so it compresses better.
Thank you for your help mate!

You can find the downscaled texture (256x128) in one of my posts in this thread.

I would love to use this in my map, but unfortunately its file size is way to big, and I need as much room as possible.

2 Questions, what's HQ texture and where's the no plants version ? :3. Aside from that, absolutely love it, I'm using this 100%. 5/5 +well deserved rep. and on a side note, me wants more :D

Can i have the HQ version (finally realized it means high quality, I'm dumb , I know). I'm making a campaign so size doesn't really matter :)

Thanks guys, glad to hear so many of you will be using it! Vengeancekael what do you mean? whats wrong with the path?
It is sort of too generic, it is supposed to be like Houseblahblah.blp, to at least vaguely reference the model name, so that it doesn't clash with something else (remember people usually import more than one model into maps). However, this is only "a problem" because people are meant to get import-ready models from this section, though it is my opinion that people who do now know how to change a model's texture path shouldn't even use custom art in their maps. The best idea and a workaround for this is to use model paths with your name included, because it will never clash with someone else's stuff.

ahh..ummm im new to uploading my stuff here and Im already getting discouraged by so many rules and stuff... I dont care much about the converting part, portraits and so on.. I only care about making stuff from 0 and quickly dumping them thinking they might be useful to other people

If it is so, you can "dump" those on me, I can make them Warcraft III friendly, so you can upload them and get them instantly approved. If the model is not animated, even a .3ds will do, I can do the rest of the conversion.

hive is not really for just dumping stuff.. even through you dump nice things :p i think happy tauren explained it better than me, but we here want newbs and pros alike, to have an easy implementation of a model into their map

Jesus people calm yourselves >.>
He just shared an incredible model with you and you criticize him because you don't contain the knowledge to right click on a texture and type a new name.
Btw, hi soj and pe :)

You might as well allow people to upload scripts that don't compile to the Spells section and the excuse would be that they could be fixed by fixing one keyword in one line.

Really, according to Murphy's Law, something that can go wrong, will go wrong eventually, so the author of this magnificent resource might as well just fix whatever needs to be fixed himself without having users do it because they might actually mess up.

It's better for everyone that way.

If people like this building THAT much, let's just wait until the end of the month when P.e can upload THAT model with his and my efforts combined. Everyone here will bow down in awe. Btw, i showed p.e the entry because he helped me clean up one of my models a bit.

How about you realize that a professional artist does not steal his work from a game?

This entire model is probably stolen somewhere from internet, including textures. If he used ingame textures which are very similar to these, he would save more than 300kB and then model whould probably be used in some multiplayer maps, not campaigns only...

Is that supposed to be a poor attempt to troll or what?
