Mecha-CL



• i got the idea from the " Cyber'arak " skins from HOTS ( Heroes of the Storm ) and i needed a futuristic model of CryptLord, so i made it with most of his abilities and effects...

tbh at first i didn't want to share it in here becuz i though it aint good enough, but then i chanegd my mind and here you are:

Update

• added a O2 logo to the capsules on it's back, changed the texture for it's Pelvis, made some changes to his arms and did some improvements for the legs (have to apologize for the filesize increase).

• Updated all of the models except the flying drones

• I just reduce the main model's filesize

• I fixed every single issue found within the models using sanity test

An excellent model edit of the Cryptlord model. Great use of textures and lovely auxiliary models. Works in the game and performs well.
becuz i though it aint good enough

LOL we all know the real reason is that you wanted to keep it as a custom private asset only in your own map to make your map more magical and unique and impressive
 
This is a massively impressive, creative and fascinating set of models. That you even considered that it's not "good enough for the Hive" blows my mind. You should be extremely proud of your creation, it's beautiful and I'd LOVE to see more models along this line. A mecha-Undead lineup would be absolutely amazing.

A Mechanical/Cybernetic-Undead race would be interesting for a Futuristic map. What if as a faction, they were like the Reapers from Mass Effect, where they go about making bio-mechanical hybrids of everything, creating Cyber variants of Abominations, Gargoyles, Crypt Fiends, etc.

yea that looks like a cool idea and i'm currently working on the futuristic version of the undead heroes.
 
This is a great model, everything work well, except for the Blade, I tried to replace them in the buff tab it didn't work it just kept showing the normal Spiked Carapace and not the Bladed one.

Well,i think it's because your using an old version of warcraft 3, the current version im using is 1.23 and it works well.

But good thing you mentioned it, i just found out that the Mecha-CL model has an issue with it's attachments... Thanks anyways

But I am using 1.26.0.6401, oh well there another way to use the model and that is using it as an item.

One word: Necrons.

About the model - this is what I call "Quality" with capital 'Q'.
 
On 1.27a now, still can't properly use the Blades to replace the Spikes.

And it turn out it can't be use as a copy custom skill, have to the base one.
