Make my Current Avatar an Icon Please

Okay, so I wanted my avatar to be an item in my game Though I have no experience on editing photos specifically on removing the white colors from it. A BTN and DISBTN would suffice for me If you don't want to convert it TGA would do too. Thanks in advance.
