LowQualityModels

hey, i was wondering if theres anyway to force a game to use the "low Quality MPQ" that is stored inside the regular mpq, to reduce lag...
Heres an example:
(inside the war3.mpq)
War3_Low.mpq\Units\Human\Footman\footman.mdx

but this filepath dosnt transfer the units location, since mpqs reset filepaths or sumthin... so is there anyway to acess this?

i know it only reduces the lag on their comp, but the point is it still reduces it, and if i could force it ingame, it would reduce the lag for anyone who normally has highquality, which is usually what my setting are at, and id figure alot of peoples also :p but for somegames highquality just wont do.. thx for the help, +rep and if anyone finds a solution to this, ill check here a few more times, but after a few days just pm me.
Thx in advanced

@I got no idea at all. Did it work with the footman?
nope, i was able to export the low quality model, and import it into the map fine, but i had no luck on directly useing the one in the mpq... the footman is like 35kb (b4 squishing, but after converting anims to linear) so i might just import some of the more "used" low quality models, rather than all... 200kb for less lag is worth it wouldnt ya say?

On the other hand, even though you can't set model quality during a game, you can change texture quality and spell graphics... If that doesn't help enough to reduce the lag, I doubt lowering model quality is going to make the big difference.

Anyway, you'll have to export from MPQ and import them in the map if you really need it...
