Legendary Terrains

You should be using these as well, so that the images don't take up a lot of room. It's just {Hidden="Title"}"What's inside"{/Hidden}
 
OK, I felt nice. Transformed them all into pimages. Just get rid of the hidden tags. It'd be like a gallery walk.

Hey sorry, I havent noticed that people have been posting. But Thanks a lot [Death]! I'll update right away. And I think MadseN has more than one just because people suggested more than one for him. There isn't any limit on anyone elses number of pics. If there are any more of someone elses that are legendary, just suggest it.
 
Still a few I really don't think are legendary. There are a lot of other better terrains out there than them. That green one of the Eye of Sargaras for example.

I actually think it's because it's one of the original really awesome cinematic terrains. It's like the jimi hendrix of terrains, there are many more skilled terrains now but when it was made, it was awesome, and without them being there the ones we see today wouldn't, either.
 
A) I think we should have each one have the authors name on it. Like right on the terrain.

B) What about HernenG? He's used to be one of the best terrains, maybe for his time he was the greatest.
 
If you still think my Garden is good, I made a cropped version a while ago (original).

I was going to submit some terrains from the contest, but I'll wait until it's over first.

HernanG's terrains are good, but I've always thought he was highly overrated by the Hive community. They're good, but not legendary--at least, my tastes say so. I really like his cave terrain, though.


Oh, and I really like this one by 13lur.
 
I suppose the is a bit overrated, but imo he did one hell of a job with wc3:WoW terrain. As well, he was one of the first quality terrainers here and that's the reason for his popularity.
 
Honestly, I'm more concerned about whether HernanG's terrains look good for the thread than if they're "good for playable terrains". The terrain I linked to by HernanG is the only one by him (maaaaaybe this and more as I see them) I'd consider on par with, if not better than, some terrains here. It pretty much needs to be on par or better, otherwise it's going to clash.

HernanG's non-playable terrains are good though, and I really wish he terrained more.


Anyway, don't let my opinion deter you from adding it. If you think it's worthy of being added, then add it. Do what you like! (There doesn't seem to be a defined structure for adding, but it seems to be popular demand and I'm not the populace.)
 
[Death], the HernanG terrain you posted is not showing up for me. I think he's got work that's good enough for here, but I'll leave it up to you guys.

Use a negative number in the roll value for your desired doodad. Remember to hold shift when you click to open the value.
