No offence to the author but how is this on the actual "Model" page while models like these http://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/paladin-from-wow.278628/ and http://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/paladin-from-wow.278628/ are considered to simple and moved to the
Substandard / Too Simple
page.

The site is decently new and I like the idea of having models that would otherwise be rejected get put in to a different area, but it seems that this area is clearly no properly supervised.
Why doesn't the hive operate in the same way with models but instead of rejecting models for too simple they would go to this "Substandard / Too Simple" page? As those models (on the old hive) would normally be approved with "useful" ratings.

"Disclaimer I am in now way saying we should add ratings, I was merely pointing out that the models I have given above would be approved and given a decent rating instead of being rejected or just approved."

I think those models that were "set on awaiting update" or "rejected" are now in 'substandard/too simple' section. But I think it is a matter of time when they will fix this and put the model where they belong as I too saw some cool models in the mentioned section.

the whole 'why is this model approved, while another, better model is rejected' is, in my eyes, a fit, that i've seen way too many times, and it annoys me.. if you really wanted a quick change, you could have poked the mods and admins for it, again and again, via any means of communication in the site. but no.. you decided to spill it all on someone's resource thread, making it seem as if his resource is nowhere close to good? and that is untrue. you just complained in public because you think we are not going to fix stuff? I'm not a mod anymore , but have a little thought on a broader angle, about your comment.. >.>

I have nothing against this model, I LOVE SIMPLE MODELS, if there's anything you should know about me is that for me simplicity and practicality is all you need in life. (And that I comment that more often than anything)
To think that you are accusing me of such an act is a direct insult to my person especially coming from you, as in the past you have been known to reject models for their simplicity if people didn't speak up, a great example is WanderingSoul's Spearman model which you considered to simple of an edit while actually being one of the most useful models one could make.

I in no way have said or implied that this model is trash or not fit to be on the hive, while it may seem so I was merely pointing out why or how could equally or "higher" quality models are being put on the "substandard" page. As they are clearly put there by a person, I reckon that if staff didn't have the time to check them they would still be in the submission thread and not moved to the substandard, correct me if I'm wrong. But I used common sense on this.

While it is unfortunate that this conversation must take place here, this is in no way criticising the Modelers and Author of such simplistic models but only mentioning that such things are being done and to get more attention on the matter instead of sending a private message which may only be seen by one person.

You may think this is an over reacting of a reply may I remind you, you threatened to report me for the sheer comment I made addressing a problem which you or the staff may have missed and I only wanted to remind of it, do we live in such a political correct word that everything has to be sugar coated?

This in no way should have escalated to this argument, while you're telling me I shouldn't have posted this here you yourself reply to this thread (to me) telling how the hive is new (which it is) and then following it with "reported sniper" without giving any explanations on how or why you did that, instead of posting it on my profile.

I rest my case.

I'm the one who put that models on "needs fix", for the reason stated in the review - it has attachment points which are not actually linked to any bones, thus do not work.

Hey at least its available to us now. As I suspected there is a hidden trove of resources which were set to be updated but never were updated. They really don't belong in the section at all are many many times better than some of the bad models in the model section from years ago. If you ask me a whole lot of normal models needs to find its way into the substandard section while many others from the substandard section need to be vindicated.
