This isnt altered melee. All you did is to add a custom model for the rcish grunt.....
Oh and Kalimdor is already populated by orges...How the can invade it then? They are mindless brutes...
Terrian needs hell more improvement but the idea is good.
* Map is symmetry and the outline is pretty good. * Terrain is too flat and empty, you could try adding doodads (but not that spammy) to fill those empty areas. * Tile wise, you could make road using the dirt tile accordingly combine with the other tiles. Also be sure to raise it a little. * Common melee maps uses random drop items not fixed (usually Permanent or Power-up). * Credits are needed. Whenever you use an imported resource, of course you need to credit (mention) the author at your description and/or ingame.
Overall, I like the outline/shape of the map tho it has a lot of bad points. 1/5 till you update it. Also, you could try reading these tutorials, it will hope you a-lot, terraining and making a melee map. Good day!
Kalimdor Islands is one of my maps with actual islands and 5 races.
I know it was an accident. I'm not blaming you. Don't give up, its just a rough start.
To take a screen-shot hit [cntrl] + [PrntScrn]. The print screen button is usually about the numbers. If you do this a "screenshot" is saved to your clip board. Open Paint and go to edit and then -> Paste. You should have the image now. Save it! Now upload to the WWW or world wide web internet. Use your album here at the Hive or use facebook or photobucket or anything you want that will load a picture up online. Then right-click on the image and select "open image in image URL" then copy the image address. It should start out http/:www. Then update your description and add the [img]www.yup.jpg[/img] tags around your image address. then save the update and voi la! You now have your first screenie!!! Don't ask me to teach you to screencapture video and add to your description because I can't really ever get it to work great, but that's fun too.
