Is there any possible way that JNGP 5 can harm your computer because i heard rummors if not used properly it can fuck up your comp to death.I ask because i need to work on big maps which i have in mind but some random guy told me on Gameranger that JNGP 5 can fuck up your comp if not used properly so i ask if this is true or not because once i downloaded it once my net started going on and off rapidly.So is there any truth to the rumor or no?

Be sure to download it from hive: Jass New Gen Pack

If you're on Windows, always use AV of some kind. For example my BitDefender Free never gets in way and is kind of lightweight. Remember that anti-malware is its own thing (I use Malwarebytes).

If you've downloaded your JNGP from any other side than wc3c or hive, delete the files and run your AV's full system scan.

Edit: As to clarify, any application you download from internet might be malicious. Always be cautious of what you download and what you give access to. Also phishing sites are on the rise, do not pay bills on Windows machine, at least on one you use for daily sessions.

Yes i know that i need to be carefull and i downloaded it from wc3c.net the latest version of JNGP.Thanks for the advice i use malwarebytes already a cool program which gave all of my errors away to the recyclebin.ANd i still use it.However didnt downloaded any antivirus only windows firewall which idk how long will stand.Is there any Antivirus you know that i can download that will help me protcect my comp?

Well I recommend BitDefender. If there's some ideological reason for you to not use it, Avast is also a popular choice.
