Is it okay to update the map without any additional patch?

Why do you care about views anyway? The only thing that matters is people actually hosting and playing the map - and updating won't do shit in that regard, especially when you didn't change anything.

And tbh, I don't know what's the big deal here anyway. For simple ladder maps, your contributions have pretty decent download rates.

Just an idea: You can create more melee maps and put them all in a bundle, called "MysteryMaze's Amazing Mapz". Then you can update it everytime you create a new melee map, and your old ones will get viewed aswell. :)
Update the decription to match the latest map, and put old descriptions for old maps in hidden tags.

So it looks like I cannot put different maps in one bundle but only different versions of the same map.
Am I getting things clear?
No. That's silly.
Take this as an example: this guy has got many maps uploaded separately but the triggers and data are the same for each (WoT - Frozen Isles) while this person has packed/bundled them for ease of use and order (Pack 10 Races Maps v1.4a).

I wouldn't say that's people being less interested in melee, but rather that a lot more people upload and update their maps nowadays, thus pushing your map down the list.
It was a significant difference from when I started as a map moderator till I quit, I must say. :)

Yes, you are right. I think it has to do with maps section change. Since all maps(substandard/approved/pending) got displayed on the same page, maps disappear to the next page more quickly.

You could promote them over Youtube recording matches or doing a showcase of each (different videos to be considered).

I suck at recording videos haha!

I kind of get it. In my case it would be okay because all my resources are of the same genre. Maybe I should consider that..

Maybe like this??

Blood Raven's Melee Map Pack
Matching genre, yes.
No. That's silly.

Haven't been active for the last few months,
I found that many of my maps are left far behind.

So is it okay to renew them just to create more views?
It has been over 4 months since the latest update.

I personally have nothing more to change or to update,
but it is such a pity to leave them as they are.

I have a better plan for you; why don't you actually update it with slight and minor changes here and there?

Just have a to-do list for your map, and pick up a random point to implement from the to-do list. I have actually been updating my map quite a lot when I first released it, something like everyweek or even everyday update with minor changes and bug fixes.

It doesnt hurt, and it's "ethical" :)

I'm not OK with that but thing is who's gonna check to see if you actually did update the map even with a small detail?
A lot, I guess most, people do that, sadly.
When actually there is no changelog, I would notice

Hey, sorry to bring up this thread again. But I just updated my map with some major changes, yet the thread didn't get bumped. I think it's kind of meaningless to bring an important update without the thread getting bumped. Meanwhile, my other resource got bumped whereas I only changed the description a bit. Things didn't work this way in Hive 1 afaik, and I think it was better.

Anyway, what's the span delay between each update for the thread to get bumped?
