If you're bored, what will you do with WE for fun?

rather than making maps, what else can you do with the Editor that Amuses you?

If you're asking me the same question, here's what i do with the editor....

Either by
- Opening the Sound Editor
- Import mp3 music/cinematic sounds (like Guilty Gear's Holy Orders or some AOM phrases)
- Setting pitch to high or low
- And slap my headphones and laugh or think of it seriously that it actually fits (The "In Flames" band has most records that can use deep voices)

Or by
- Opening the Sound Editor
- Listen to some Cinematic Dialog
- Hear the Fire Lord saying "Soooooo Thirsssttyyyyy!! Ouarugggghhhhh!!!"
- Or other funny dialog

so what do you do with the Editor for fun?

If I'm bored and using WE, I'm usually bored because I've been fucking around with WE for so long without actually doing anything that could/will be productive in the immediate future. I still go ahead and do it, but it's more like OCD than boredom relief.

3. fiddle with game constants and set the max hero level to 100.
4. Tinker with hero properties and set him at level 100.
5.Test and watch some carnage.

I do terraining... Actually I do terraining projects more than I actually do full-fledged map-making. I just make a map with good terrain (well as good as I can get it) and sometimes if I like it or if I want to improve on something, or just get comments, I'll put it in the Terrain Board.

Damn it! i don't even touch the Editor, i even got bored at it and do something else!....I just couldn't finish stuff, not even my "RPG"! it may be big enough to cover the entire map on 256x256, but it's barely 6% complete!

This is truly necessary, unless you own Age Of Mythology, where the Editor itself is still playable, so you can generate an army and forward them to battle, i miss AOM so much....

I either listen to some funny quotes, or create a trigger which crates 20 explosions at the center of the map when I press a random button and laugh as all the blood comes out.

Its just funny to see a footman explode in 12 times its mass of blood.

I guess im the only one who enjoys terraining in their spare time. Either that or modeling and testing it in the WE. Creating systems is fun and all, but only if I plan to use it for something. Otherwise like I said, terraining is the best.

I do something similar to that... But I like to make the terrain a big battlefield looking place (lots of hills, trenches, craters, fire, tall grass, etc.) Then I create some kind of stupid looking model that's very weak like 100 health 10 damage etc. And I send them at each other like 50 on each side every 10 seconds and I put some uber hero with awesome stats in the middle and watch the show

I often spam units everywhere and see how many I can put ingame before WarCraft crashes. The funniest way I did this was when I made a trigger to spawn 10 Mechenical Goblins every second.

If I have no work I'll sit there and stare at the wall. Maybe walk around a bit, then see if I can get on my computer. If I can, I'll usually do something totally unproductive with respect to the real world, and oftentimes totally unproductive with respect to the world I'm doing it in. If not, I'll stare at the wall some more, maybe listen to music.

Back on topic, WE isn't that fun to mess around with unless you can produce something you can be proud of in one sit-down (terrain usually). Otherwise you should use something else to relieve random boredom. Something like maybe the internet >_>.

Well if I'm really bored then I go and play and try to balance two sides in my campaign, even though I know I'm going to have to completely redo them.

At the moment either I work on my campaign (excluding the above), work on my dragon model and get frustrated with gmax, or play with my new tablet I got today and try to finish my damn loading screens.
