Intro

This tutorial will teach you how to make cliffs that have a 90 degree angle using only height modifier, bridges and pathing blockers.

What to do

First select your height modifier and start rising the terrain to the height you want the terrain to be.

After you get to the height you want, select your plateau modifier and select the highest part of your risen terrain. You will notice that the risen terrain is now a flat plateau.
Do this where you need .

The next step is making the bridges that link 2 areas made like this. Select the bridge you desire and place it at the bottom of the risen terrain with a small part in the terrain, then select the bridge and rise it using ctrl+page up until you get to the desired height (test it until your units can walk on the bridge without falling).

The last thing you need to do is to place pathing blockers to make the regions like Blizzard cliffs, so that you can't walk off them.

That's about all you need to make that kind of terrain i hope it helped. You can add many things to the map to make it look flashier and cool.

EDIT: Terrain fog is a must, to make it look better. The values that should do good are:

Z Start: 800.00
Z End: 5600.00
Density: 0.60
