Im currently trying to make a map for me and afriend to play, though everything i seem to do makes it an expansion map. Is there anyway of making it so that i can only do stuff for the non-expansion? it's getting very annoying having to save after everything i do to see whether or not my map going to become expansion or not.

Reason im making this is because I want to play a map with a friend though there's a serious shortage on good non-expansion maps. Feed back is much appreciated.

BTw please dont just suggest me to make my friend get the expansion, thats the only response i seem to get anywhere i post, that is,when im lucky enough to even get aresponse.

No no no....

Some options are only available for TFT, such as assigning drops to destructable doodads, placing units that are available only in TFT, ect. As long as you dont do any stuff like that, your map will be compatable with RoC.

Its very easy. If you assign a TFT only feature and save it, it will say "this map now requires the exansion to play because;" and it will then list all the reasions. Use that list to backtrack yourself and undo them so you can keep the map RoC compatable.

OMG all you have to do is not put ANYTHING in the map that is exclusive for TFT. Just use ROC stuff and it will save in ROC format...
