We’ve rolled out a brand-new front page on Hive Workshop, and now we’d love to hear what you think!

Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us shape the experience for everyone in the community. Whether it’s something you love, something that feels off, or an idea you think could make it even better.

Let's hear your thoughts!

We are especially interested in ideas for the side widgets.

Hi, can I impart my feedback here?

I like that it's not just news now, helps advertise what Hive is about to potential newcomers.
I think Reforged Models should not be as high up as it is. Maybe that's just my bias but I far prefer classic models, icons, textures, and maps.
Maps, I think, are rather popular and should be moved up, maybe just under "latest project news".
I'd probably line it up like this:
  • Hive News
  • Latest project news
  • Maps
  • Classic Models
  • Icons
  • Skins & Interfaces
  • Reforged Models
  • Sounds
  • Tools
I think this roughly lines up categories by "most popular/relevant" to "least popular/relevant".

Hello, update looks awesome, nice to see more pages, that roll over time instead of whatever the most recent update was. One small note though, it seems more natural to me for the arrows to be left and right of where the tabs are, like the image below :D. At least thats where I looked first before realising. Even top left corner or having one on each makes more sense than the current design :D

Still, not a big deal, props to the team for redesigning the site! <3

My 2 cents, but there is a lot of visual clutter on the grid card, displaying the map/models/skin, I believe you should remove those from the card :
  • Resource type: user is already looking at the "Classic Models" section, for example, it doesn't need to display "Model" on every card, that's too much duplication. See the red rectangle in the attached screenshot.
  • Resource star rating: nearly every resource displayed got a 5 stars, only the resource title and those stars are yellow/gold, which is too visible for little value added
  • Resource rating: just keep the icon, maybe place it on the top right of the image thumbnail, don't put the text like "Recommended", this occupies much space for little value, especially for new users

I also believe the section separation style (border, contrast, shadow...) could be improved, only the section header helps distinguish different sections.
