Hello

Is there any extensive FAQ or mega thread explaining Hive's ins and outs? Like, what all the abbreviations are, and other general information that would be confusing to new people? I regularly find myself trying to figure out what certain abbreviations means.

The rules are easy enough to find, I am talking about abbreviations for terms that new people don't know, and similar relevant information. Like I had a hard time figuring out what "getting a DC" on certain resources meant.

"getting a DC" to me is more general online gamer lingo. Google / urban dict should usually suffice.
As per other things like "GUI" and "Jass", perhaps check out an editor tutorial: WarCraft III Tutorials
I don't think there exists a glossary.

DC stands for Director's Cut. It used to be a way to quickly find resources of outstanding quality on THW.

Hah yea, I overlooked the "on resources" part. Thought he ment disconnects
btw: Am I the only one who thinks that naming of "director's cut" for a top notch resource is total bogus?
No wonder it confuses people.
