This forum is for reporting bugs encountered on the site, this forum is monitored and moderated by members of the HiveWorkshop administration team. Every report posted here is reviewed and researched as appropriate.

Bug reporting procedure:
  • Any time you encounter a suspected bug on the site, you should contact the administration via the bug-report forum. Many issues can be rectified immediately by an administrator.
  • Check for other reports on the same issue, if one is found please add to that thread instead of making a new one.
  • Provide as much information as possible, give full names of the locations that are involved in the bug.
  • Use proper English, do not use slang, abbreviations or other unclear language when describing the issue. We can not address bug reports that we do not understand.
  • Create a single thread for each issue, some lists of bugs are difficult to track and respond to, if you have multiple bug reports please verify that there are not already threads on them and then post them each in their own thread.

Rules and Policies specific to the bug report forum:
  • Any non-bug related posts will be deleted. This includes but is not limited to balance and new content discussion, suggestions.
  • Any custom user issues and questions should be directed towards the Site Discussion Forum located: here.
  • New topics created for known issues may be locked or deleted.
  • Only create new posts if you have additional information on a bug or are reporting a new issue. This includes but is not limited to verify that whatever issue being addressed occurs to you as well.

Bumping and Spamming
Please Do not Bump threads, please do not spam new threads on the same issue.
All posts in this forum are read by a member of the administration team in the order that it is posted. Bumping threads or spamming new threads on an issue does not help your issue get addressed any faster. Instead Bumping and Spamming slows down our process and delays bugs getting fixed.
Only bump a thread after a week without any new posts.

FAQ

When will this bug be fixed?
As soon as the administration have been notified of the issue as well as identified the bug we step for reproducing it immediately. Minor bugs are usually fixed within a day once reported, though some reports may take x amount of time to fix.

Why was my post deleted?
Please see the Rules and Policies section detailed above.

How can I help the staff research known bugs?
The first thing a user should do when researching a bug is to attempt to reproduce it. Once you feel you can reproduce it consistently, it is time to post additional information on the bug.

The other forums are full of posts on this issue why hasn’t it been addressed?
The HiveWorkshop administration team does not actively monitor all of the other forums, if an issue has not been posted here in the bug report forum it can not be guaranteed to have been seen by an administrator.

Why hasn’t anyone at the upper-staff acknowledged this issue?

Usually we do. But the staff does not always have time to respond to every single post until x number of time after the issue has been reported. Generally we only respond to a post if we need more information about a report, or if we have confirmed that the issue has been fixed.
