I hope you guys are all familiar with Humans of New York. In case you're not, check the link.

The idea is to have a member or a few members who will be acting as journalists picking a member randomly and make a short interview about their lives. Pictures can be optional.

I came up with this while writing on a wall to a member here with whom our paths crossed one too many times here on THW, as I'm sure we all converge here based on a sole interest in our life: Warcraft, but out there we're all individuals, and it'd be fun to know a thing or two about the many people here.

In my opinion it could be a nice weekly/monthly addition.

Does anyone have better ideas? Based on this? What are your thoughts about this?

Good Idea, They could start interviewing other people with their drastic past would be a good documentary. Anyway I hope the other members here will know and be curious about real life situations :3

To be quite honest, I'm less interested about peoples lives and more interested in their artistical inspiration and a story of how they grew from a beginner to now. Their mindset when making models, how they design things and why. That is to me far more interesting than what school they go to, what they study or where they work.

I'm glad some of you find this as interesting as I do!

I have no idea who the journalists would/could be. Certainly not me, since I got little time as it is on my tight schedule. Although I'd love to read some 'Hive stories' on the frontpage :)

@Minimage, it could basically be anything the member wants to share, be it how they got to the point where they are right now, where they work, how much time did it take for them to finish a certain project, how's time management, etc.

A few Hivers know each other quite well here, although it'd be fun for everyone to share a little something.

Edit: If anyone feels like taking this idea to the mods and discussing it with other hivers until someone is ready to take the job, feel free to do so, in fact I hope someone does.

In some extent, this is what "Resource Spotlight" covers.

Also, I'd like to have it officially stated that if anyone want's to do this,
it'll be wholly community created, the staff won't have a part in it.

This, I think, is a good thing the way I see it. If anyone want's to organize this,
it'd be great, but it seems to me like an idea that would prosper best if some
enthusiastic members did it together, rather than it being a staff initiated
initiative.
