I have only done the base hero but not it's skills.. It would be okay if you make em since I still have plenty of spells to make. :3

Lol no problem.

To keep it compact, I tried making all the skills run through the same loop trigger. It worked, but as you can imagine that takes a crap load of different variables... So at one point I couldn't see what I was working on because it was so messy D:

I'll have to rewrite them into separate triggers now. huehue

I think you should raise your 2nd skills' damage because sacrificing but dealing little damage is quite bad. And also in your 3rd skill, you should also write the limit of stacks. You are too imba if that has no limit.

Maybe that will balance your hero in some ways. ;)

He is referred to often as the "Gatekeeper", but beneath this haunting title he goes by the
ame "Qaboos". Qaboos is not just another Pit Lord, as his title suggests.
No, in fact, he is THE Pit Lord, the one whose never ending reign torments the souls in Hell.
One day, however, these souls stopped coming.
Qaboos was infuriated as he came to know Ken, the Mysterious Wanderer,
the reaper of his souls had joined some silly eternal war called "Hive Arena".
This meant there would be no more souls to torture in his own twisted game he liked to call:
"Enter the Pit." He has now come to the Hive Arena in attempt to find Ken and return him to his duties.

Erupt

Qaboos uses his dark magic to slightly crack the earth around him,
toying with and tempting the souls in Hell. They attempt to grab
onto enemies as they try to climb out, before
Qaboos quickly closes the crevices.


PASSIVE: Each time Qaboos kills a unit he sends their soul to hell.
This increases the duration of the slow by .02 seconds permanently.


Area Effect: 400-500(?) to all directions
Mana Costs: 60 / 60 / 60 / 60
Cooldowns: 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
Slow amount: 30-40%(?)

Level 1 - .6s slow + (.02 * FarmScore)

Take Down

Qaboos storms at a target enemy unit, trampling them
upon arrival.
He gains speed over time, and deals damage and stuns the
target based on how long he charged for.
Charge lasts up to 8(?) seconds.

Cooldowns: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14

Level 1 - 60 -110 damage, 0.5 - 1s stun, 350 max speed
Level 2 - 110-160 damage, 1.25-1.75s stun, 400 max speed

Animation: I want him to use his Walk Fast animation for this one,

knockback, perhaps, for VFX?
Anyway, point is, he should end up behind the target.

This ability is canceled if he hits impassible terrain.

Ball of Execration

Qaboos summons a large ball of rolling abhorrence which
travels a set distance at a medium pace.
Anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its path
takes continuous damage and will be
taken to the end where the ball explodes and deals
extra damage in an area before disappearing.


Ball Velocity: ~267 (which is 8 units per instance)
Mana Costs: 110 / 120 / 130 / 140
Cooldowns: 25 / 22.5 / 20 / 17.5
Damage per instance: 1

Level 1 - 550 travel distance, 50 explosion damage
Level 2 - 700 travel distance, 100 explosion damage
Level 3 - 850 travel distance, 150 explosion damage
Level 4 - 1000 travel distance, 200 explosion damage

One 'instance' is a trigger loop with an interval of .03s, so when I say "8 units per instance", I literally mean to move the target(s) 8 units per loop. Just FYI.

Example: Say a unit gets caught by a level 1 cast,
and the ball has already traveled 250 units. 300 remain.
300 / 8 = 37.5 damage + 50 explosion damage
= 87.5 total damage

Example: Say a unit gets caught be a level 4 cast,
and the ball has only traveled 50 units. 900 remain.
900 / 8 = 112 damage + 200 explosion damage
= 312 total damage

This ability ends early if it hits impassible terrain.
Destroys trees.

Drag Them To Hell

Qaboos opens a gate to hell that lasts for 15 seconds.
The portal detects and drags any hero with less than a given
percentage of their health to the gate.
Once a unit gets to the gate, it is released.


Mana Costs: 150 / 175 / 200
Cooldowns: 130 / 120 / 110

Level 1 - Heroes under 10% get pulled 4-8 units depending on their HP
Level 2 - Heroes under 20% get pulled 5-9 units depending on their HP
Level 3 - Heroes under 30% get pulled 6-10 units depending on their HP

IMPORANT
Enemy heroes under the effect of the pull can right click at
a location away from the gate/portal. Each click will move them
a fixed number of units away from the portal, depending on the
current move speed of the affected hero. -ALSO- Affected
heroes have their unit collision turned off so they WILL be
dragged over impassible terrain.

Destroys trees if units are pulled through.
Escape speed of affected heroes depends on their movement speed
(not base movement speed). For example, a hero with 450 movement
speed will be moved something like 20 frames with each click(?)

If you don't get it, here's an explanation:
Suppose Qaboos' team nearly wins a team fight, but 3
enemy heroes get away with near to no HP. The Pit Lord
can cast his ultimate. Suppose one of those heroes only
had 50 HP left. That could be 1 or 2 percent of that
heroes' HP, depending if it was a mid/late game team fight.

In any case, this hero takes full effect of Qaboos' ult.
Basically what happens is no matter where on the map the
hero is, he will be pulled towards the gate. The only way
the player can prevent being brought all the way back to
the gate is by spamming right click to try and get away.
Of course he has low health, so he will be pulled at a
faster speed. If any of his nearby teammates have a
a heal, they could save him by slowing or even removing
the effect. (If they bring him back above 10/20/30% HP


I don't even know if I'll do a second, but I had fun writing his abilities :p

Anything with a question mark I wasn't sure about yet... And of course all the things I said I wasn't sure about, I'm not sure about either huehue.

I tried writing his abilities according to his character. I think they turned out quite nicely, though I don't know about the stats just yet. If they seem OP, we will fix em :D. He's supposed to be a tank/initiator/support, though I don't know how his mana pool sits throughout the game.. I guess we'll see if he's an effective support. In any case, he does some bad ass slowing/stunning.

Also, here are all the resources I linked, though I must say, if you think you have something that fits his theme better, feel free to change the icon/skin/model accordingly.

Cold Destiny

Nova encases himself in ice (invulnerable),slows anyone near him (50%) then after 3.5 seconds he explodes, dealing damage and slows, (150/200/275 dmg and slow [40%] for 3 seconds) in an area around him, and after exploding, reveals his true form, granting him range attack (375), splash attack,
slow on hit (25%, lasts for 1 sec.) , increased magic resistance (10%/18%/25%) increased armor (2/4/5 , along with the passive) regains HP and increased ms (290/300/325).
Grants him also increased AD and increased AS.
Also disables his 3rd skill. (For the sake of balance Xp)
It also passively increases his armor by 3/6/15
Doesn't Apply Winter Mark when Nova explodes.

Please fix your English, I can't seem to understand the casting.
BTW your Final skill at level 1 seems to be underpowered.
Aaaand there's only 3 levels of Final Skill.
Also nerf your First skill stun, or else it would be OP.

I think the first stun skill is a bit too much, lower the stun and increase the damage instead [why this happened always when a stun skill come o_O]
Ultra Lvl 1 need more damage and lower cooldown.
Also, level 4 spider is kinda a mad rush, 4 spider every 30 seconds o_O? You got to be joking..

Ever since it was defeated by Iova, it's sole purpose to defend the artifact was destroyed, thus making it wander around place it was tasked to defend with.
Ages after its purpose was destroyed, an unknown being warped it to an Arena, giving it another purpose, KILL ALL ENEMY IN SIGHT. However, it sensed that the artifact it was used to defend is here, swearing to itself that it will find it, take its revenge, and return the artifact back to where it originally belongs.

Cold Wrath

Guardian channels itself for 4 seconds, generating Ice field around him. then unleashes its wrath on its enemies by dealing damage per second on them for 3 seconds.
Will freeze enemies for 3 seconds after dealing damage. Slows for 100% while channeling, 50/75/85% while dealing damage.
(Can move/skill/attack after channeling, Ice Field will follow Guardian)

Level 1: 125 damage per second.
Level 2: 250 damage per second
Level 3: 375 damage per second

Manacost: 300/400/500 Cooldown: 140/140/120

Guardian is an Int Hero with Very High Burst capabilities.
However it has alot of casting time to deal damage.
Beware to not make it to have killing spree, or else its damage will increase,
to the point it can kill you in an instant.

(I feel its a little bit OP though )

The Gambler has one thing that other people don't have, he can morph into a bird! (Okay maybe the Night Elves have it but The Gambler isn't an elf).

He was enraged, he gambled and gambled until he lost everything that he had. Now, he is an angry gambler who just wants your pocket money and someone who drools at the sight of gold.

I'm really excited for this! I am thinking of a second hero right now :p, but i'd like to make one minor change to my hero, the demon templar:

-Change sound set from Demon Hunter to Dreadlord.

the reason for this is because some other people have chosen the demon hunter sound set as well, so i'll pick a new one that still fits my hero.

Hero Lore: Due to the chaos that is ravaging these lands, a once dormant Volcano have once again become active. This Volcano saw the chaos that was ravaging the lands, and knew he can't do anything to stop it, since he's a volcano, volcanoes don't walk. So, through the use of ancient incantations, reverted back to his ancient form. Now, Volcano seeks to destroy chaos, by causing chaos himself.

Fists of Lava

Volcano is nothing more than a walking landmass, still keeping his nature-side.
[Slight chance of having Lava stick on the enemy, burning their hp and mana for a set amount of time , also leaves a trail of lava that increases the Volcano's movement speed by a set amount, trail lasts for 5 second for all levels.]
Level 1: 5% Chance to stick, 10 hp/mana loss for 10 seconds, 5% speed increase.
Level 2: 10% Chance to stick, 12 hp/mana loss for 12 seconds, 6% speed increase.
Level 3: 13% Chance to stick, 14 hp/mana loss for 13 seconds, 8% speed increase.
Level 4: 15% Chance to stick, 20 hp/mana loss for 15 seconds, 10% speed increase.
Lava Flow

Even if in his ancient form, the Volcano can still change into lava at his will.
The Volcano turns into lava, and with great speed rushes to the target point, damaging enemies on it's path and slowing them.
Level 1: 100 Damage, Slow by 5%
Level 2: 150 Damage, Slow by 10%
Level 3: 200 Damage, Slow by 15%
Level 4: 250 Damage, Slow by 20%
Rocky Crust

Lest we forget, the Volcano is still a walking volcano, keeping it's rocky and hard crust that surrounds it.
Attacks on the Volcano has a set percent of chance on stunning the attacker, reduces damage by a set amount and increases magic resistance.
Level 1: 10% Chance of stunning, reduces attack damage by 15, increase magic resistance by 15%
Level 2: 14% Chance of stunning, reduces attack damage by 17, increases magic resistance by 18%
Level 3: 16% chance of stunning, reduces attack damage by 20, increases magic resistance by 21%
Level 4: 18% chance of stunning, reduces attack damage by 25, increases magic resistance by 33%
Eruption

The Volcano, even in his ancient form, can still erupt like a normal volcano, dealing massive damage to nearby units.
The Volcano erupts in a cloud of smoke and lava, dealing massive damage and slowing enemies, but also damaging the Volcano in the process.
Level 1: 450 damage in a 900 Radius, reduces Volcano's hp by 10% of his maximum health.
Level 2: 600 damage in a 1000 Radius, reduces Volcano's hp by 20% of his maximum health.
Level 3: 750 damage in a 1200 Radius, reduces Volcano's hp by 30% of his maximum health.

@xorkatoss Yes, an attachment would be fine. It's gonna be hard to pass the map around all the time. X3

MPI would suffice because I'm not gonna add non cooldown modes or WTF in DOTA or sumthing like that.

I'm trying not to use VJass spells because my friend doesn't have JNPG but it's okay too.. I can just force him to install JNPG.. :p

Acid Body

Mr. Mucus' body is also highly acidic, touching it is enough to give you AIDS!
[Heroes and units within a certain range of Mr. Mucus will be slowed and be dealt damage per second.
Level 1: 10% Slow, 5 damage/s, 300 radius.
Level 2: 12% Slow, 7 damage/s, 350 radius.
Level 3: 14% Slow, 9 damage/s, 400 radius.
Level 4: 16% Slow, 14 damage/s, 450 radius.
Soak

Mr.Mucus is also pure liquid, so he can let the earth soak him underground anytime he likes, but for a limited time.
[Burrows to the ground, Mr. Mucus can also move underground.]
Level 1: Lasts for 6 seconds.
Level 2: Lasts for 7 seconds.
Level 3: Lasts for 8 seconds.
Level 4: Lasts for 10 seconds.
Waste Disposal

Too much waste on Mr. Mucus' body is bad, so he disposes them in a form of Explosion.
[Upon activation, triggers an explosion of poison which slows and deals damage over time every set seconds, but drains mana and health.]
Level 1: Explosion deals 50 base damage, and 10 DoT, explosions trigger every 8 seconds, drains 20 mana AND 0 health for every explosions.
Level 2: Explosion deals 75 base damage, and 15 DoT, explosions trigger every 6 seconds, drains 60 mana AND 75 health for every explosions.
Level 3: Explosion deals 100 base damage, and 20 DoT, explosions trigger every 5 seconds, drains 90 mana AND 150 health for every explosions.
NOTE: The DoT stacks, each lasts for 5 seconds

Wind Mastery

Having mastered the element of water, Moose can provide aid to his allies.
Level 1: Heals an ally for 150 health points.

Level 4: Heals an ally for 600 health points.

Fire Mastery

Having mastered the element of fire, Moose uses the fire to create an aura which damages the nearby enemies, draining his mana per second.
Level 1: 10 damage per interval, 7 mana drained per second, 160 AoE
Level 2: 15 damage per interval, 7 mana drained per second, 160 AoE
Level 3: 20 damage per interval, 7 mana drained per second, 160 AoE

Lighting Mastery

Having mastered the element of lighting, Moose calls down the powers of the thunders from the sky.

Level 2: Calls down bolts of thunder that damage nearby units. Each of them deals 55 damage. Lasts for 45 seconds.
Level 3: Calls down bolts of thunder that damage nearby units. Each of them deals 60 damage. Lasts for 60 seconds.
