Help on creating a missile/Unit That can bounce of walls,units,doodoads etc.

Well have you tried using regions and ordering the unit to bounce between them?

As you havnt specified how you'd use it I don't know whether this is appropriate but you might want to think about having the unit as a missile whilst its in "bounce mode" then you can have its direction change depending upon the origin of the fireing unit (in this case the "surface" from which it bounced off) and you can use the "unit missile type: bounce" to your advantage.

I would only recomending this for smaller maps though as it would require ALOT of troggering.

If, you dont know jass and feel like makeing up a basic system. I would be willing ot help you out, because then i could use it too :)

then again...so many tools i could use if i learned just a little jass so i could import premade tools like the one "Dr Super Good" was speaking of. and use them.

The way i made a missile move straight. is doing some math . and to make it bonce, it wouldn't be too hard :)


p.s. something you might want to realize is that when you tell a unit to go to a point like (1,1) war craft send it to around that point not exactly that point.
