...how to make your character be able to move back and forth between multiple maps.

i guess he means (just an example) when he finished a quest the map will load another map...just like wc3 TFT campaings...the REXAR's campaigns...i know you guys what i mean -_-

He wants to move a hero, keeping its level/attributes. (Between campaign maps)

I need to know how to make the game not only save the HERO, but save the entire MAP as the player leaves it, so that they can move back and forth like in Rexxar's campaign. Does anyone know this?

This is a SINGLE-PLAYER campaign.
