1. "gotten" is not really correct grammar.
2. You are asking for opinions. Opinions are highly variable.
Personally the difficulty has become much lower. It is also very easy to feel like you are progressing somewhere unlike the start. Doing MP 3 even does not require much time as gear is quite cheap.
The game still is a grind fest (as intended and like Diablo II). You also can now do some form of PvP. The optional bosses can also distract you for dozens of hours while you farm a good hell fire ring. You can also play without using the auction house although the game will still be much harder.
The PvP arena is there to stop silly fans complaining Blizzard ripped them off as it said competitive PvP on the retail box.
Blizzard will eventually make a far better competitive PvP mode with match making and things based on PvM rather than direct PvP interaction (which Diablo III is not designed for as it is a PvM game).
Well if it said on the box competitive pvp then the fact Diablo's main focus is PvM is irrelevant, a game should deliver what it advertises. I don't think it's fair to call fans silly for wanting what they paid for.
So they have got it. PvP is no worse than Diablo II so most fans are happy. The only people who are not happy were the people who really looked forward to proper competitive PvP (children I guess as most adults would have seen that was not possible) and griefers who want open world PvP just to annoy Hardcore players into paranoia.
Well, I personally never played Diablo 3. From what I watched over the whole series of lets play videos over here, Diablo 3 havent changed much in game play as the D1 to D2 did. It just have amazing way of graphical look and it looks easier to be played. Im not even surprised that they want the players to be able to advance with not much of trouble as in D2, since I saw from the videos that D3 was meant to be more of a story book, or even a movie then just a game! I personally LUVED the idea of turning a game to story book or movie! <3
As you saw in the video, the guy beated the normal mode in just 12 hours.
Yes, they have a large part of the Titan team working on it as Titan is put on hold while the technical team fixes a major problem. As a guess, next year some time.
