Happy New Year guys!

for the new year, we can become one with the meme of wc3:wow, or something

It's my 18th year here (👴) and I'm glad this community is still alive & kicking.
Same, although I think you might've posted more than I did across those years, especially in the first 6 or 8 of them. But tools from this site have been super fun for me. My only biggest gripe with the site is that one time a non-tech friend went to download one of my Tools from the Tools section on this website, and they didn't have adblock and the ads turned into download buttons and got them to download virus from Hive instead of the Tool that I created. Sometimes when I think about that, it makes me really sad to be a supporter of this website. But other times I think about how Ralle alleged to have fixed it, and then I flew to a foreign country and marched for hours under the sun without a phone until I reached the place where Ralle was at, and then I had dinner with him and he logged into the website on his laptop and read through my DMs and personal messages of this website and stuff, and we had a very good dinner, and it was very entertaining, and then I think, it's probably okay. Hive has been a lot of fun.

Although this thread is about new year's celebration
This thread is about New Year's celebration because they missed Christmas thread opening as they are inactive. If you check last few years, there is always thread named ,,Happy holidays" starting with 24. December, but this time it is missed and if he did not open this thread now, nobody else would. I know that because it is not coincidence as I was waiting for the respond for two weeks often regarding my contest. Speaking about administration. I do not blame anyone, actually people have their own lives, jobs, kids, families, other priorities which is totally normal and understandable, we are all grown up and have to do something else besides this site, but I am just saying why do you have specifically ,,Happy New Year" thread instead of classic ,,Happy holidays".

That is an assumption. Plus if they missed Christmas, Julian calendar Christmas has nothing to do with your statement.

That's a fair point and the one that counts IMO. But even that is quite context dependent. There's so many holidays in the world that you can't sum up to one thread once per year. I guess winter holidays is much appropriate but still not encompassing.

You completely missed what I am talking about. I am not talking about holiday calendars, I am talking about that each thread of that type is traditionally is being opened in 24. December in a row which is absent this time
Thread for 2024 Happy Holidays
Thread for 2023 Happy Holidays! The Hive Workshop's Year 2023
Thread for 2022 Happy Holidays! The 2022 Year Recap
Thread for 2021 Happy Holidays 2021!
And so on perhaps I am lazy to dig further. All of these threads are started on 24 or 25. December, thats what I am talking about, but this is for first time (in a few years) that thread started on 31. December, and that may be due to staffs less activity this period (combining with my experience with them regarding my contest that I have to wait them for weeks to get an answer)
