-Halo 4 takes place 5 years after H3
-Halo 4 marks the return of the Battle Rifle
-Halo 4 is taking AAs and Sprint from Reach

It actually takes place 5 years after H3. Its also a fact that the new armor isnt nice.

In a loadout, you can choose 1 primary weapon, 1 secondary weapon, 1 grenade type, 1 AA, and 2 customisations (perks). Sprint is default to all players now.

I didnt like this. I would prefer it if everyone started with the same weps and there were weps dropped around the map. It also reminds of cod a lot.

Lol i think you should put all those in the top post. Storm rifle is upgraded plasma rifle, and the light rifle is more like a forerunner BR.

I believe Halo 4 has kept the human shotgun, they just haven't showed it yet.

Yep there seems to be a human one. Halo 4 seems to continue the story in a very nice way, has nice graphics while the gameplay isnt Halo anymore. It makes me think if i should buy it or wait for 5.

Now now, Ghost. You missed one of the "most amazing things" that was announced. (see my pic if you dont get it. Have fun writing the walls of text explaining every armor) Meanwhile, i will give some info on the Covenant we are going to encounter on Requiem.

The Storm is an Elite-led faction following the Prophets' teacheries. They appear to be on Requiem for over 6 months and are searching for a powerful Forerunner weapon hidden in the Shield-World. They consist of the millitiary leaders Elites and light-infantry Grunts and Jackals.
You may have wondered, "Why the heck do Elites look like armored dinosaurs, and why do Grunts look like those monsters in Gears of War?" Well, it appears that the Grunts have been genetically modified, and so do the Jackals. As for the Elites, they seem to have been selectively bred too. I will provide some pics later, showing stuff.

http://www.halopedia.org/Storm There you go. I pretty much wrote what it says there with my own way of writing. I aslo thought the elites are modified since all 3 species have almost same skin, while they clearly didnt have it on the previous games. The jaws seem to be way smaller too.

Relatively old news; information has been released about some of the new weapons.
These include the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon, a portable light machine gun), the Railgun (somewhat similar to the Splaser, but also somewhat different), and the Promethean Pistol (unknown what it is at this time).

I think Halo and CoD is kinda had allot of difference.
CoD is very fast paced gameplay even in Multiplayer.
Halo has very slow one, y'know destroying the shields of your enemy then spraying more bullets at them to die.
although I wouldn't say much if you really liked CoD. I'm just saying my opinion.

Halo 4 Vi-doc about the making, 343 is making Halo 4 an emotional Halo game. not like the past games that has so little emotional moment.
I like the way they're making it. it kinda brings a different meaning in video games.

Still, I'm more interested what Ghost said, Cortana's rampancy. it could make a huge impact for Master Chief.

Noting here the achievement for completing the 6th or so mission. The achievement's name is The Composer. That suggests that the Composer may appear in the game. What is the Composer? A forerunner entity, most likely a device imo, which has the ability to turn people into AI (Chakas into 343 Guilty Spark for example) and to slow down flood infection. How would it help? Since Cortana is a copy of Halsey's brain, the Composer could probably turn her into a new Cortana? Just thinking what could happen, nothing of these is sure to happen.

I'm surprised they return the old Mark VI armor, I thought they completely replaced it with the new Master Chief's armor.

I like that they bring the old one, since i guess MC's wont be used in multiplayer. Many people dont like the new helmets.

I missed the old Mark VI, I only played it Halo 3, never got the chance to play it on Reach, too expensive and I'm late to play Halo:Reach, I only started playing Reach last year, then this year 343 will release Halo 4. I also noticed that the GUNGNIR in Halo 4 is somewhat different from the one from Reach.

It obviously is, since the GUNGIR in Reach is a permutation for Mk V while the one at 4 is for GEN2
