My favourite music in general comes from video games. Braid, Professor Layton (all of 'em), Tomba! and obviously Puggsy all have awesome music.
But my two favourite soundtracks are Professor Layton and Puggsy.

Most fitting Soundtrack i have ever heard in the game, it syncs to whats going on perfectly for a racing game :

F-Zero GX

The song just builds up until the end, and when it matters, at the last lap, the song makes you wanna fly through everything! (last part of the song)
