Beat me to it. =)
Apparently, we will be unable to publish any maps. The way how Blizzard is doing this is mostly for everyone to get a handle and get a headstart on the map maker so maps can be released on the game's launch.
Since the beta is for balance, will they suddenly let us play our custom maps over Bnet 2? Will we be able to multiplayer test the maps? I doubt this if they won't even let us have access to 3v3 or 4v4 or more advanced AI.
Apparently, all in the same patch...
The Mac client.
The Galaxy Editor.
3v3.
4v4.
Remember that since the Mac client comes out, OpenGL comes out, and therefore playing on Linux will be extremely easier via WINE.
I wouldn't mind if you couldn't publish maps when the galaxy editor is released, all I do whenever I get my hands on a new editor is just make a bunch of single player maps for myself to play and have fun, and I usually do that for months before I get a bit more serious about it.
HELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME.
Piracy ftw...I really love that you dont even need a beta key to use the editor and test your maps![]()
Piracy ftw...
And where can I get the client for free ?No.. Just download the US client and let it patch. The editor dose not need login and in the editor there is a Run Map option that starts the map.
, give us a break with your goodie-two-shoes attitude.Yes you do, using the editor without a key is illegal and violates the terms of use. Thus discussion of that here is prohibited.

Great, now that we know what is illegal, you may as well take some action in this thread that is right under your nose:Dr Super Good said:Yes you do, using the editor without a key is illegal and violates the terms of use. Thus discussion of that here is prohibited.
Yes, after 2 reports and 3 pages long. I sense something is wrong here. I guess the "better late than never" saying applies here ? I don't like it this way.Firstly, Flame, Pyritie already took care of that thread.
