    Beat me to it. =)

Apparently, we will be unable to publish any maps. The way how Blizzard is doing this is mostly for everyone to get a handle and get a headstart on the map maker so maps can be released on the game's launch.

Since the beta is for balance, will they suddenly let us play our custom maps over Bnet 2? Will we be able to multiplayer test the maps? I doubt this if they won't even let us have access to 3v3 or 4v4 or more advanced AI.

    They're planning on adding 3v3 and 4v4 in a patch. When, I don't know.

Apparently, all in the same patch...
    The Mac client.
    The Galaxy Editor.
    3v3.
    4v4.

Remember that since the Mac client comes out, OpenGL comes out, and therefore playing on Linux will be extremely easier via WINE.

We know that the mac client will be delayed until next week so it won't be a part of the patch.

I wonder how long it takes until everyone without beta can play it. One day?

Wait. Does no publishing mean we can't play online? Or just can't add it to the marketplace and/or sell it?

Well, they mentioned publishing and the sort, but will we be able to download peer to peer like in Warcraft III so that, until the Marketplace comes out, we can at least play free maps?

I think you can only play a custom map if both parties have it. no Dl-ing. that will have to wait for the real release.

I wouldn't mind if you couldn't publish maps when the galaxy editor is released, all I do whenever I get my hands on a new editor is just make a bunch of single player maps for myself to play and have fun, and I usually do that for months before I get a bit more serious about it.
