5- are you saying that women aren't currently able to go to the kitchen and make sandwiches? Damn that totally falls under the first world problems category.

8 - How is lack of wars a bad thing? Maybe you've been playing Warcraft 3 too much so it got into your head that wars are cool.

9- So first world problems are first world problems?Well can't go wrong there i guess.

10 - Not sure what you mean by science is the problem. Do you mean pseudo science. Like soon we will have warp drive for interstellar travel or you think science is the problem in general?

10 - Ok i wasn't specific sorry.I was talking about Science of the universe which destroys peoples interest for exploration, by releasing sums of materials and information about our universe.This in my opinion kills the interest in young people.

1)the pressure to conform and thus resulting in less innovation (this is the reason why most innovation comes from 3rd world countries)

2)higher demand of quality, education, production. resulting in employment in high end jobs being extremely competitive and hard for the common person to keep.

3)pressure to contribute to the army and world health organisations. more people in first world countries join the army/medic-core when they leave school.

that was in Congo about 2 years ago. it uses a reaction that works with the potassium in pee and currently it used by researches that work in the north or south pole during their 42 days without sun.

India also produced some technology and I believe the creator was quite young. they were even made a nominee for a noble prize . they created a cellphone charger and battery that could be charged in seconds instead of minutes/hours. using capacitors instead of transformers they did some magic I don't really understand to created the system.

then in Southend Africa a bunch of college kids created the first laser that could cut and shape things in 3-D. before that everyone was only using lazors for making 2 dimensional cut outs of metal and so on.

Africa also got the award for the best programmers in the world. I believe it was a Nigerian who beat the previous record holder a German

I don't have any doubts over the fact that there is innovation taking place in the developing world, especially given that they face vastly different challanges from what the west is facing. Throughout history the one who is hungry will always beat the one who is content, and the west is very content right now.

It's not possible for me to state that the the West or the East is more innovative, because that's a very broad statement on very different set of countries in both the 'developed' and 'developing' world. But I will say that there is no doubt to my mind as to which countries spend the most on research and development, and where the best universities are currently situated. This of course will change as we regress to the mean.

With this said, at times I envy your position, because as your socities are younger, if you allow me to express it in this way, you are freer to innovate because there are less establshied rules. Cities are growing at an impressive rate and are organized very differently from what we are used to. It's both exiting and cause for concern because it leads to the question: Why are we growing so slowly over here?

On the topic of no innovation taking place because of the lack of war, I suggest that you have not been paying close attention to the things going on around the world. Also world war 2 was a heavy price to pay, because it wiped out all the wealth that had been generated in Europe through the 19-20th century. Can't speak more on this because I find it to be a fruitless discussion. You might as well call for a global plague to wipe out 1/3 of the populaton because "things have gone so stagnant".

the reason why third world countries don't really improve is because there are first world countries. these first world countries are always going to rob and cheat the third world countries because in essences we need the land and resources more.

because we have a larger economy and value for money we can do more with what you have, and because we are developing at an alarming rate.... we need more money and resources.

let's take it back to the good old Japanese sword war days. I am an emperor and you are my son. I notice you are growing strong and soon you will demand my position as emperor. now I can't kill you ending my bloodline, and the safety of my family, but I can send you away. there is a saying close to this which I can't quit remember. it says, 'you are growing strong and soon you will become greedy for what I have'

in essences in order for one nation to be stronger than the other, you have to have a victim. no one is willing to be equals, risking being over powered, so instead they over power.

hence why you find countries taking land from other countries. Iraq and Americas oil industries on this land. Africa and the banana plantations. Africa and Germany and Frances blood diamonds. southern Africa and England's gold mining exploits.

in every case the local people are exploited or murdered.

America caused the Iraq war by betraying their leader (look it up)

France and Germany decided to fight each other but considered that it wasn't worth losing their forces and so made their allies in Africa kill each other.

England supported the white powers in southern Africa, India as well, so that they could continue to mine through the beginning or segregation.
